Blameless, Holy, Chosen, Justified, Forgiven, and right thinking now with correct perceptions, .....no longer ignorant, and heading to becoming more like his Genius mind. Our Lord chose Apostles, instructed them. founded His Church, the Roman Catholic Church, on Peter as His Vicar on earth (Matt 16:18-19), sent them to baptize and teach all nations to observe ALL that He has commanded, and promised to be with them always until the end of ages (Matt 28:19-20), so that they may believe in Him through their words (John 17:20) and thus may have eternal life (John 3:16). Our Lord said, "Whoever listens to you, listens to Me. Whoever rejects you, rejects Me and rejects the One who sent Me (Luke 10:16; John 13:20; Matt 10:40)," and "He that believes shall be saved and he that believes not shall be condemned (Mark 16: 15-16). Our Lord also said, "Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you do not have life in you (John 6:53), and whoever rejects Me and does not accept My Words has something to judge him; the word that I spoke, it will condemn him on the last day (John 12:48). Protestant churches reject Our Lord by rejecting teachings of His Church whom He heads and saves (Eph 5:23). People following protestant churches do not realize that they are following wolves in sheep's clothing and, thereby, walking on the broad way to perdition. They say, "Lord, Lord", with insincere hearts and hypocrisy, to deceive unsuspecting souls, and preach a Gospel other than the one Apostles preached (Gal 1:8-9). At judgement, they will hear "I never knew you, depart from Me, you evil doers (Matt 7:23, Gal 1:8-9)." Whoever revolts and continues not in the doctrine of Christ has not God (2 John 1:9). Our Lord desires to save you, sheep that do not belong to His Sheepfold, and said "Them also I MUST bring, so that they will hear My Voice and there will be One Fold and One Shepherd (John 10:16)." Please don't be a fool and so gullible. Open your eyes, brothers and sisters, and understand the Truth; and save yourselves by returning to His Church where He is present always (Matt 28:20) and awaits you with open arms like the father of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32)! As we are now living through the tribulations in the end times, time is urgent!

No, the church was founded on "Petra," a large and immovable rock, meaning God, specifically Jesus. "Peter," or "Petros," means a small stone. The universal church is made up of believers who are referred to as "living stones," and Jesus who is referred to as the "Cornerstone," meaning a large stone which supports the weight of a building. Peter was the leader of the church in Jerusalem; Paul founded the church in Rome. Paul wrote 14 epistles in the New Testament; Peter wrote 2. Paul was the chief theologian of the early church, not Peter. Paul even needed to correct Peter when he refused to eat with gentile Christians due to peer pressure from Jewish Christians. Paul's doctrine was more correct than Peter's. Neither Paul nor Peter are the foundation of the church; they are small stones. Jesus is the foundation of the church because He is Petra, a large,, immovable Rock. Jesus is LORD.

@@marca.8081 You are quoting what the protestant churches claim, which is false. Our Lord gave St. Peter, the keys to the Kingdoms of Heaven, appointing him as His 1st Vicar on earth (Matt 16:19). The keys have been handed down to his successors, Popes. "Outside of the Church, there is no salvation" is a Catholic Dogma which means it is Truth. Our Lord instituted His Church for salvation of souls until the end of ages. Please ponder carefully, the eternal destiny is at stake!

I never once quoted any Protestant sources; I only quoted the New Testament, which you considered to be "Protestant." 1.) Matthew 16 Jesus refers to Peter as "petros" (small stone) and the the rock upon which the church would be built as "petra" (large immovable rock). Aramaic uses the same word for a small stone and a large rock, but when the text was translated into Greek the translators knew there were two different types of stone/rock being referred to. Peter was a small stone and Jesus, the Christ, Son of the Living God, was the large Rock. 1 Samuel 2:2 says, "...There is no Rock like our God." 2.) Peter oversaw the church in Jerusalem while Paul engaged in missionary journeys, including to Rome where he, not Peter, planted the Roman church. 3.) Peter erred and stopped eating with gentile believers due to peer pressure from Jewish believers. Paul corrected him (Galatians 2:11-13). 4.) Paul authored 14 epistles; Peter only 2 as well as dictating the Gospel of Mark. The chief theologian of the New Testament was Paul, not Peter. These are all New Testament facts which need no outside sources. If you consider the simple facts of the New Testament to be "Protestant," then maybe there is something to the Protestant viewpoint afterall.

Jack, you are still mixing what Jesus preached with what Paul preached. Are you sure you're rightly dividing the word? Jesus was a minister of the Jews and Paul is for the Gentiles.
