This was exactly what I did when my ex played me. I took a sewing class, watched some of the most hilarious videos possible (or tv shows), and even had my sister circle help me out with moving on. Devastated, he broke MY heart & I never saw it coming. Then in 1990--7 YEARS LATER---this same man who dumped me CAME BACK out of NOWHERE asking to be with me again after all those years SMH. UNREAL! He showed up randomly out of NOWHERE one day at my MOTHER'S house and I was THERE😲. After I was kicked to the curb, I just made up my mind to just go on with my life. Unfortunately, we both worked together when I was dumped. Made it all WORSE. It was painful to have to see him @ work every day. 😥I made up my mind though that I was NOT going to cry or show I was hurt in front of him and give him the satisfaction. Focused on ME. Went on with my life, got busy, started being with other males/dating and ended up marrying another guy 2 years AFTER the Ex Man kicked me to the curb. Married, left town for few years and then came back hometown area....and that's when Ex-Man heard about it and then wanted a second chance. Too late for him, already married by then. Oh well. I'm sorry that you were hurt, it just HURTS SO freakin bad.😥{{HUGS}} to you❤. Feel good for being a good person to someone, even if another did NOT appreciate it, truly their loss. Sometimes the person can't show affection which stems from not being loved as a child and that can come off as not wanting or loving someone. I'm in that type of relationship now and many times I had cut ties only for him to come back and make a small effort. Baby steps.

Yes. Everything you said is true. Unfortunately, we all take rejection so personal and of course we would. If someone rejects you it could be for many reasons as you said. You just may not be their type, they could be interested or involved with someone else, they may not be in a space or time in their life to commit to anything at the moment or they just don't like you, which doesn't give them the right or permission to treat you badly. But if someone is not interested in you that you're pursuing and they're giving you all the signs you really have to let it go and move on. Otherwise it becomes obsessive and turns into you actually harassing that person who simply doesn't want to be bothered. The person feels pressured and begins to treat you badly. I learned from being on both sides at one point or another that if it's meant to be it will. Once you've pursued and expressed your feeling and it's not reciprocated, move on. I know. It hurts like hell. But the right person will be there who will be better for you than this person you obsessed about. I'm speaking from experience. Thanks again Tyler for your knowledge.Thanks

NGL but this hurts me because its a hard truth thats hard to swallow and that ive been ignorant to for so long. This was a big problem in my life of wishful thinking and seeing people, especially women, through rose colored glasses. In the end of it I just end up hurt trying to beg them to love me and overextending myself in hopes that they would like me. I choose to live in reality now and not in a fictitious world of make believe when it comes to relationships. You cannot force someone to love you and you cannot buy someones love.
