Correction: The Prophet Muhammad pbuh could’ve ONLY done done it through Islam by the will of Allah. What he achieved in his lifetime was objectively impossible for a human being to do, especially in the span of 23 years. One of the reasons people convert to Islam (including myself) is because after studying his life that was so meticulously documented, it is illogical to believe that he did it by his own will. The fact we’re talking about a man that couldn’t read nor write, orphaned, banished from his town of birth, lived in the desert, conquered the whole of Arabia and later spread Islam to the rest of the world (which he prophesied) and now today has over 2 BILLION followers. This in and of itself is a massive miracle, let alone the revelation of the Quran which is the greatest miracle.

First of all that is an amazing video Second of all is a little correction here: The Muslims in badr didn’t intercept the caravan for no reason, when the Muslims migrated to Medina they left the majority of their belongings behind in Mecca and then Quraysh took them all… so the Muslims wanted to take back some of their belongings ( that Quraysh stole) from the caravan which then the battle began Third of all may Allah Bless and guide you

Indeed, the Quran should be understood in light of the historical context. Not doing so would lead the reader far astray from the intended message. Hence the significance of the Hadith. On a similar vein, the passages in the Quran dealing with the people of the book and their scriptures should be understood with knowledge of what those scriptures contain. That lens lends greater clarity to the verses.

When it comes to jihad in Islam, The purpose as many people mistake , is not to loose lives but to save lives and in the context of jihad a battle or confrontation is the absolute last resort There are 3 levels , this is in context of the Islamic empire being the dominating force conquering a region so keep that in mind The first is an invitation to the opposition to join Islam , If this is refused then the Islamic government or empire imposes a tax called jizya on the opposition but this is what you get , maintain all your business pork and wine however only amoung yourself, keep your places of worship however you cannot build new ones, the Muslim army will protect all your property business and land. They didn’t even need to take part in military service How much was the jizya ? Quite insignificant for all of the above something like 0.3 USD a YEAR! Only if this is refused then the Muslims will call the opposition to the battle field However there’s a long list of rules of engagement eg do not destroy trees, kill woman and children so on and so forth. Just wanted to add this as there are many misconceptions

Nope, the book is timeless and everything still applies today. The reason he said that was because some people take things out of context and pretend like it's a violent religion. Like chapter 9, that chapter is about how the muslims had a treaty with pagans and the pagans broke the treaty and so the muslims were forced into a war. A verse there calls the muslims to arms to fight the pagans but if you read it's context it's very clear that that line was specific to a certain context that happend. This does not mean the quran is irrelevant today or anything like that it's just to show the importance of looking at context before judging

But he did now say that wat was revealed to the prophet was VERY relevant to that time, which means that the revelation was made especially to have some issue solved then. For instance, the ban on alcohol came along because the prophet saw a few men appear drunk for prayer. Most revelations are irrelevant in this day and age.
