War Commander: Malachi First Impressions (FAKE SPLASH)
Before I say anything I understand that my Malachi is level 2 and the splash hopefully will scale up with levels (I hope) I just don't understand why it would show such a large size but not hit everything within the splash zone..
In fact it has 2 different Splash AOE's and both don't seem to do dick.
It feels like it has been placed with the unit to trick the players.

I don't understand kixeye anymore, this is the latest unique and yet it feels like a cobra hitting these units and even buildings, add to that these useless drones that hardly do any damage and die with 1 shot. from your video the splash seems to work on floating building only. this unit needs a lot of tech to be useful so lets wait and see.

I got the same impression with the landlocke AOE...looks impressive but apart from the main shot, does that area hurt much? It's only you doing this vid that kind of reminded me about that.

i think that the splash is more for the spawning infantry to the unit doesnt get distracted

This game is a whole mess and just keeps getting more and more ridiculous. Why would they not make the Apostles high altitude? Why would design the splash effect like that, like a massive nuclear crater, when it doesn't appear to deal that amout of damage, let alone splash damage?

So fake splash and so many hits to kill a unit you wonder if the claimed DPS figure is ten times what it actually is. Even wit Lilith alongside it looks like an attack with Rubi switched on will still take all the time allowed and maybe even need a 2nd visit to mop up the odds and sods. Hit attack and go make a coffee style gameplay it is then

I'm not impressed with Malachi by itself but deployed with Lilith it's effective on Ops IV bases. Much faster.

It does a job for now but I just feel like it's lacking that wow factor and that fake splash is poor at best.
