The day when arrogant people outside of our country, promising us that they will be there when the day comes and yet when we were on the edge of war, ready to fight back nazis, prepared for defeat yet ready to do what was right, we didn't. Our destiny was chosen by different people, from different countries, cultures and those who should be there protecting us and fighting alongside made weak excuses why they couldn't. But here we are, Divided like never before, people against each other. I love history, and with moments like these, one has to ask, was it all worth it? All the pain done for others just to end up in the flames of people who don't respect the people of Slovakia is at the forefront of a country that is ultimately left to the fate of corruption and liars. People are fighting each other all over the world and why? We cause a scathing and death where we go and ask how it's possible that the grass is no longer as green as it once was. My Grandfather was a WW2 soldier who is a wireless operator, who fought against imperial Japan at that time. he was under British Army during the fight. his duty was to secure Burma's border from Japanese occupation. At that time it was very difficult to get proper information about current situation of war. weapons were short due to war because ships are not coming from Britain at that time. no electricity, no lights little fuel to work the generator for wireless operator he had a difficult time then. my father told this story to me at this time that i didn't know much. I am from India, Kerala and I didn't know much about my Grandfather who fought in World war 2. when the war was over he was very joyful when Japan surrendered to Atom bomb dropped. Don't underestimate the Japanese army at that time, they were like hornets and will conquer anything that comes in the way and they simply kill. so British Army needs good preparation. I don't remember his face when I was small.

СССР являлся прямым продолжением Российской Империи, так же как и сейчас Россия является прямым продолжением СССР с тем же народом, территорией, культурой, языком и духом. А политическая формация в исторической перспективе уже не так важна. В СССР снимали прославляющие фильмы про Кутузова, Нахимова, Суворова, Петра Великого, Екатерину Великую, Князей, других царей и ничего.

Кстати комментаторам некоторым не надо из Польши божьего одуванчика лепить до 1938 года Польская власть очень не плохо взаимодействовала с Гитлеровской Германией, они даже с поддержкой Германии отжали у чехов их территории . та что за что боролись на то и напоролись. раз вам можно отнимать чужие территории и присваивать их себе то и другие так же могут оторвать себе кусочек от вас. и если я правильно помню СССР вошло в Польшу уже после того когда местные царьки ноги сделали из страны)то есть правительство слиняло из страны и тогда уже СССР присоединила безхозные территории себе.(кому надо переведут на родной себе язык)

@Andrei Girbu Уважаемый, начнем с того, что "эти" земли не принадлежали польскому народу, а эти русские земли были Польшей под шумок оккупированы в момент пока в России происходила Революция 1917 и Гражданская война 1917-1922. Далее: то что WWII вообще случилась сыграла огромную роль именно Польша, сорвав так называемые Московские переговоры (на которых присутствовал также Франция и Британия) закончившиеся в августе 1939. Срыв заключался в том, что Польша (польское руководство) категорически отказалось пропускать Кр.Армию через свою территорию в случае агрессии Германии в Европе. О чем писали к примеру глава французской военной миссии генерал Думенк и американский журналист Уильям Ширер. Из-за позиции Польши переговоры зашли в тупик, последнее заседание состоялось 22.08.39. А 23.08.39 в Москву прибывал уже Риббентроп, с которым 24.08.39 был заключен договор о ненападении. Что совершенно верно с позиции руководства СССР, которое заботилось в первую очередь о безопасности СССР и безопасности его граждан. То что Германия решила подмять под себя Польшу - проблемы Польши. В соглашении с Германией мы возвращали себе занятые Польшей в период Гражданской войны в России лишь наши земли. Польша как гос-во была уничтожена Германией в сентябре 1939, и к моменту ввода 17.09.39 сов.войск на наши оккупированные ранее Польшей земли, Польши как гос-ва не существовало. И не стоит забывать что именно Польша проявила первой агрессию по отношению к СССР введя свои войска совместно с германскими в Чехословакию в сентябре 1938. На данное действо Польши СССР высказал ноту протеста, но в Польше наплевали. Их плевок в СССР в 1938 им же и вернулся в 1939. Так что мне совершенно непонятно какие могут быть претензии у агрессора? Поэтому выше и сказали что не надо из Польши лепить одуванчик.
