There is actually a small added detail also added into the Zweihander - to the side of the handle are three little holes, these are three launcher holes containing tiny spears/needles connected to cables, these are used in one of it's fight to trip up an enemy mobile suit. For the question of the gunblade having it's handle in the flintlock fashion, it's to give you the balance of it being a rifle handle and also a sword handle as it's close to being level with the blades for a more ergonomic fit. Overall it's a good kit, comes with a ton of excess parts allowing you customise it if you wish, you can give it a matching red backpack which will make it resemble the GBO2 render version more, you can have it with two waist mounted sabers if you wish etc ...

It basically comes down to how comfortable are you with the idea of doing a bit of painting and reinforcing some joints. If you aren’t afraid of putting in a little extra effort to make this kit shine it looks like the foundation is all there in terms of surface detail articulation and accessories.

Thanks for the review. I was gonna build my copy and now I'm prepared to paint it. The pale rider variants were my first HG I painted and I definitely agree these kits details are much better painted stickers are straight bad then the usual. I do wish their unique decal came with a water slide too.

I don't use that open hand because it was meant for the Blue Destiny series, and I feel like those back hand covers are brittle. Also my only problem with this kit is SO MANY EXCESS PARTS, especially those unique parts for Red that are identical to Pale but just a few holes different

Mecha. Hyper Mode is the super saiyan mode of Gundam the Hades system/Ares system is a modernized version of the EXAM system that disables the safety limiters of the MS to draw out its full performance. It's basically the UC equivalent of the Aliya Vijnana system

Except this is far safer than the bootleg Alaya Vijnana. ARES essentially increases the suits movement performance by 150% for 300 seconds, in some cases go lower if there are problems with the pilots heart. And unlike HADES, ARES only activates by the pilot's voice command.

@@MasterSwo-MK Surprisingly no. The MC of Gundam Aggressor hasn't had to take any drugs to properly pilot it so far in my reading. Currently in Vol. 16, Ch. 75, so it could show up later if so. All that's happened is his use of Rymm-Va after his heart stopped once when piloting it.

recently bought the HG Ground Gundam. Dunno if it came before the GM Ground Type but the shield is basically the same design. Once I encountered the issues with that shield connector, I modified it immediately to basically lock the c-clip with a small piece of plastic + cement in a way that it keeps the shield's movement. Less headaches definitely

Hg gm ground type came out first! Both are equally amazing kits. If you like the GGT you should get one of the Blue Destiny kits. I recommend Unit 3 cause you get the double beam cannon like the GM Dominance

I picked this up thru usa p-bandai, went with the red visor, the color correcting stickers, and the foil vent stickers. Very cool basic kit but man, the wrists are absolute trash. I guess for a high grade overall it's fine, but It's one of those where you stick it in a pose and leave it. I basically left it in a pose very similar to the thumbnail.

I love the Pale Rider units but they genuinely anger me in GBO2. Especially the Red Rider with its Beyblade ahh heavy attack. The only Rider units i dont actively despise in game are the White and Black Rider.
