I get wanting to secure your victory on Nomea, but the Allies can move on you elsewhere on the map and move your point spread in the wrong direction. I think the real catastrophe for the Allies is not 600 AV on Noumea, but the massive point swing at Chungking from points and lost army units for the Chinese.

Where is that other threat vector? His carriers are here. If he moves them, his troops die on Noumea. If he keeps them here to try to protect them, he can't hurt me elsewhere. He's got a Catch-22

@@jochenheiden I think he's gotta admit Noumea is finished and try and fix your attention there while trying to target new objectives. I don't see a scenario where he wins at Noumea unless you make a bad mistake or he gets very lucky in combat.

I know, but we don’t have time to take them off the line for this. We are too busy with combat operations to have them leave for upgrades.

@ if I do that I would send the Hiryu first as it has unrepaired battle damage from 4 months prior still.

From Australia only North Australia is really important to protect Oil at Palembalang from long range strikes. Whole Australia is anyway illusoric. Colombo is much more important as the only big shipyard for allies at this side of map. Still no Helens? its the best Bomber the IJA will ever get in whole war so you should switch to them fast.
