Still no major russian breakthrough on a strategic level after a year of constant attacks, and despite the fact hat the russian attacking force is at least three times bigger than the ukrainian defenders. Just a snails advance. A remarkable military incompetence.

True. Zoom out and we can see the gains vs time vs estimated losses. That is not a pretty picture for Russia. Ukraine continues to do very much with very little.
