Yeah I agree just watched the seasons 2 finale it was so good season 1 was letting us see who the players were, season 2 was setting the stage and laying the pieces down

No it was supposed to be 10 episodes but they cut it for stupid reasons.. by saying you love what they did to us, the fans, you let them do whatever pleases them in the future. Sometimes we have to stand up, say no, for f’s sake, have some honor 😂

Man, the dragons as nuclear warfare metaphor has never been clearer than this season. Nobody wants this war to get to the dragons because it's mutually assured destruction, the one time they clash everyone loses, and both Alicent and Rhaenyra go to increasingly desperate lengths to stop it from happening. The only one foolish enough to want it is Aemond, because he's the only one at Rook's Rest to get away unscathed, and realizing that he's as doomed as the rest completely breaks him. The dragons dance, and men are dust beneath their feet. Their riders will not be spared.
