Hi, Broken Monkey Gamers I think it is Aichi M6A1 Seiran sea-planes launched by the IJN submarine. You could check the IJN submarine that can launch seaplanes.

When you hit attack on your destroyers, they’re gonna automatically speed up and lose the submarine. You have to take them in manually at a slow speed until they’re on top of it.

When a task group encounters a possible sub / subpack , could a crusier launch a float plane armed with depth chargers as CAP? Once picked up by sonar , they can move in for the kill faster than your DD's??

I have done this before. Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. But its a good idea.
