War Robots: MK2 Tutorial | What is MK2?

War Robots. A brief MK2 Tutorial demonstrating what MK2 is and what it does to your robots and weapons. At the end of this MK2 Tutorial, I also offer a tip as it’s what I have been doing on my own personal account. So what exactly is MK2? MK2 is an “enhancement” or upgrade that you can do to your robot or weapon once you have reached level 12. To start the process it costs 500 Gold but there is a catch. In my Bulgasari example [03:35], you see me enhancing a level 12 Bulgasari with 190k HP. After clicking on the Enhance button the Bulgasai’s health drops to 117k HP. When I reach MK2 level 9 my Bulgasari has close to the same HP as that of a regular level 12. Once I reach MK2 level 12 my Bulgasari has 228k HP - 20% more HP than your regular level 12. In the case of weapons the same thing applies except your weapons will now do 20% more damage. As a tip, I recommend players focus on their weapons being MK2 level 12 first before moving to their robots. This game currently releases content at such a rapid pace that it makes more sense to focus on weapons since weapons have a longer shelf life than robots. The other benefit is that it helps with damage and with more damage comes more silver.

Narcoatix I actually have news on this but I can't really share it now. It's more to do with what action I'll be taking to try get this sorted out. I'm well aware of the tanking that's going on as I've seen it first hand but I've also seen it in lower levels as I frequently watch live streams of players who are in lower leagues.

I agree. I also think if they're going to take this route then they should increase the amount of components we get maybe in the Super Chest. This will encourage players to actually play more but if you want to rush things there's always the option to pay.

Hey Adrian...great advice. Weapons first, but wait on robots. very logical rationale because like you said before, you got your Tarans years ago and still use them to this day, but on completely different bots.

Yep! Same with Orkans. The Orkan I've had for the longest time and still use it occasionally. I don't use it now as I'm using the Inquisitor Ember Taran build but once I get a Spectre and level it up, I'll probably be running the Orkan on it at some point. Just need to MK2 another Orkan as I only have 3 right now.

Mk2 players should not be in whit level 12 or lower players im in gold league and there is mk2 level 12 players running around blasting every one too bits this puts me off playing any new players will just quite! A better match making is neaded

It's the same in diamond man, I have several screenshots of low gold and even mod silver ranked players with All mk2 10+ gear. It's BS, but it's just a fact of the game. Thing is, it takes Almost a full season to tank that far...OR.. they just dropped a ton of cash and will be out of your league soon.

I'm only in diamond one, but I have a MK2 Golem that is a beast. Other safe bets for the time and resources to make max enhancement bots are fury, Griffin, and Natasha. Those bots have been around forever and are still viable against the new generation. But I do agree that at the outset, it's better to focus on weapons than bots.

Well, that cleared up my question. When I first saw "mkII" on War Robot post, I assumed it's referring to new generation of robots (based on my experience with different game). But now I know. Guess I'll have to farm silver harder for upgrades.

Also if you plan to go the mk2 route I would keep multiple sets of weapons. One high level set you use actively in your hangar and one set you can upgrade in the background. That way you don't end up underperforming with low level mk2 weapons in live play.

Good advice. Similar to what I use to do long time ago when gold farming was possible. I would have one lineup with just Cossacks but my actual hangar was bots I was working on in the background.

Hey Adrian great video as always : ) I was wondering how long it took you to reach Champion League and usually how long it will take for a general player (not heavy spender) to reach Champion League? I have been playing for about 9 months and currently in Masters League 1, so I was thinking if I am doing a good progression or lacking behind.

I was actually automatically thrown into Champion League when the league system was introduced to the game. I think they used data they had collected on my account like the number of battles I had won, my robot/weapon levels etc. If you mean on the Battle Rec Account I requested them to add league points to the account so that I didn't play lower level players in Expert etc.

Wish I had seen this earlier. Took me 2 months to come up with 500 gold. And I just mk2 my gekko... 20% just isnt worth 500 gold in my opinion. Plus loosing 1000 kill points with my weapon. Live and learn I guess. I will not being upgrading anythings else to mk2 I will stop at level 12... I'm not spending any real money 💰 on this game. Thanks for sharing your video.

After taking a break for around 9 months from the game, I got 12000 gold when I re opened my old acc.This helped me to buy Two Zeuses, Butch,Doc,Two Ancil shields, and some more equipments which were earlier just a distant dream...... Taking a break is a good idea.

The game has also changed a lot. I'm noticing that they're giving away a lot of gold through the Bronze Chests. If you play a lot and watch those ads the gold adds up very fast.

That's good advice. I made the mistake of upgrading my mechs to level 5 or 6. Which puts me at a disadvantage now. Because I'm regularly facing level 30 players that belong in much higher levels. With level 10 and above weapons and mechs. I didn't watch and of the starting out series. It seems like I'm okay in battles in the morning Pacific Time Zone. But by noon or after, forget about it. I only have 3 bays for mechs in my hangar. Another strategic economic error on my part. Not getting a fourth slot. So I get wrecked quickly. But, it's still fun.

Yeah that'll be tough with only 3 hangar slots. I remember when I had 4 hangar slots I didn't feel the need to have 5 but the leader of our clan at the time suggested 5 hangar slots. I'm so glad I took that route because it worked out well for me and has served me well.

Yup and that's why you need those hangar slots as soon as possible. It helps with tasks too which is long term gold/silver production.
