Make sure to apply for the next one before the end of the week (Check the video description for instructions) *My King of the Hill Feedback to Pixonic for you to read:* Nice idea - worked quite well. But people didn't seem to understand which beacon was active and when. Maybe highlighting the active beacon in a different colour (not before it activates but when active) so people know where to focus on. Additionally, I believe that the beacons should fill up the beacon bars of the occupying teams a little faster. It seemed like all matches were ending based on time which still was a fun-element because the team with the most cap points would win and everyone could use all their bots. But a tiny bit faster fill-up couldn't hurt. Other than that: I see potential in this game-mode but not as much as Beacon Rush has. Also: I believe it would be helpful to have a blue or reed circle on the ground around the Beacon to show the exact range of where you can sit to gain the points.

Manni-Gaming For the becon location problem we show all 5 becon with numbring as on other mods like a, b, c and so on and each becon has different colour as the becon activated that becon color is showing up on becon mark on screen by this method we easily spot which becon is going to be activated .

manni the next beacon to be active will be the one with the slightly lit marker that is white just like what the unclaimed beacon looks like but slightly thinner and faded in color i have seen this happen in your game surprised you didnt notice

Leon Stark I always thought that should be a normal beacon mechanic. Either that or have it switch quicker the closer you are to it. Either one would help conflicts like on moon or canyon map where two people are standing on the other side of the wall

A quick tip for the Galahad, if you run with your shield sideways you'll still be protected, but you'll also have the extra speed.

Here's what I am using exactly -Gaming PC where I play the game on and leave the music-playlist run in the background -Nvidia Shadow Play on Gaming PC for simple After-Battle-Recording (recording the past 10-20 min) -Streaming Laptop also with High-End i7-Quad Core & GTX 1070 -Razor Ripsaw Gamecapture Card for perfect video & sound transfer to the Laptop without delay or performance impact on the Gaming Pc. -Greenscreen on 2x Tripod Stands behind my back -1x Daylight Spotlight Energy-Saving Light Bulb for good lighting in front of me -Open Broadcaster Software on Laptop to receive those signals and put overlays, Camera, Microphone, & Chroma Key (making everything in greenscreen-colour be transparent) -Sony Vegas Pro 13 for video cutting, editing and final rendering -Mic: Yeti Blue Mic -Cam: Logitech C920 / 1080p @ 30fps (but only set to 720p because small window makes it unnecessary) -For Streaming Live I have a third very old Laptop standing here simply showing the stream & stream-chat as a completely independent device to see if something goes wrong with one machine or with the entire stream. -Gaming PC Spec can be seen in the YT-Channel Description -For Streaming Ps3 I also have a converter Box to bypass the HDCP encryption. -Ps3 & Ps4 + Games for Streaming mostly on Twitch (just currently not so much because of moving into a new apartment) Gamecapture Card & Laptop with OBS used for ideal streaming of these platforms, too.

The beacons switch randomly and you have to stay near the beacon to get the points out of it. And when it's depleted another one will open up and the previous one is gone for the moment. Only one beacon is active at a time.

EVERY OTHER Studio there is 5 beacons, and each beacon will active randomly. And each beacons are put other places.

Only one beacon will activate on the map randomly. The longer you capture them the more you accumulate points. It depletes really fast so if a beacon is heavily defended by enemies forget it and just go to the next beacon. You will find where the next beacon is because it emits a faint light.

Manni, i have been thinking about your doc orkan+punisher setup. Can you replace punisher with storm, you can have a comparison between punisher and storm. Which one will be more effective?

YOu can but then you have nothing to really deal damage at longer range. You may still be able to drain shields at longer distance but that's not all what I'm using the Punishers for. I also use it to outrange Plasma Griffins and kill them with it, etc.

Manni-Gaming speaking of your punisher/orkan Doc, it is a better idea to have the punishers on the 1st set because then you start off with longer range and also the punishers will be closer together with means that the cone of fire for both of them overlaps more.

this is a fun mode but i don't think beacons activating on the either team base is a good idea beacuse they are free points and you don't have to struggle for that...All the beacons should active in the middle,left and right where everybody has to struggle and fight for the beacon points!

Thanks for tgis video and for the explanation. I'm not going to argue about the need to make things so complicated with such modes, just a sentence of yours made me get some doubts and I would like to ask you: why do you say that Beacon Rush is the best game mode? Sorry for the little off-topic (not so off since we're talking about new and old game modes)... But I've always liked best Domination, because it gives a sense to weak but fast light robots as well as to heavy powerful ones, thanks to the distance to be covered to get to beacons and to sheltered areas. Beacon Rush takes just one fast bot in the beginning to be sacrificed in short time, and then a row of big close range monsters, due to the continuous spawning upon captured beacons. To get back into topic, the King of the Hill mode sounds slightly better than Beacon Rush from this point of view... It's just a pity the test app didn't work on my device last weekend! 😥

@Manni-Gaming As I said it's just a feeling, because unfortunately I wasn't able to play it myself. But Domination keeps being my favorite. I agree with you about the pleasure to choose where to spawn; though, I always looked at WR (WWR when I started playing it) as a double faced game, ranging from furious shootouts to chess - like tactics, where nearly all kind of available robots had their pros and cons, beyond their cost. I still use my Cossak and I often ply with a full light robots line up (well I may be a little weird... probably I am LOL)! Beacon Rush, in my humble opinion, moves the range much closer to ability and power of weapons and armors, leaving less room for tactics.
