When I sticker block games with my unsteady hands, my usual technique is to lift the sticker from its sheet using a craft blade (X-acto blade, etc), then use the blade to position the sticker, using the block to stabilize the blade. Then push the sticker against the block and remove the blade, to which the sticker is only lightly sticking.

With the "couch pouch" what are the off color plastic unit markers used for?

do you mean the white multiplier tokens? They can represent 3x of an item (or any multiplier agreed upon).

@@jamesdjordan Those aren't units but rather National commands that get ID stickers applied and sit on top of the stacks of units. For example Orange is Japan, Grey is Germany, etc.

@@Liam_Daly yes it's sold out... try ebay, bg marketplace, noble knight... wait for next KS... the differences between versions are relatively minor: 2nd has new scenario, revised morale board, nano-expansion included, missing wooden hotspots, other subtle rule tweaks, quick play/quick battle modes.

How many pages would you say you go through in the average game, and how many pages are there? I just intend to play some huge tournaments with quite a few friends and can see us running through quite a few rounds.

@@NightingaleGamesLLC I'm not sure if you work or are in contact with the people who made it, but I really love how the people who made this game don't seem to be doing it for 100% profit. It seems like a game that people are pouring their creativity and hard work into and aren't trying to cut corners by any means. I'm not sure the reason why stickers were chosen instead of printed, but I assume that whoever did it had good reasons and due to the inclusion of an extra whole set I feel they must have really understood and wanted to prevent any issues. I like things like that, where they know that they don't have to include something extra but they choose to go above and beyond just for the sake of making life easier. I'm going to hit up my wallet and try and find the $200 to buy this thing, and I'm going to purchase myself a copy as soon as possible.

@@Liam_Daly It's mostly just me (Tom the publisher) and Larry Harris (the game designer) with help from a few supporters such as Kevin Chapman (rule editor). We've tried very hard to go above and beyond. Hopefully that strategy will pay off eventually. Stickers, while a pain to apply, look waaay better than any direct to plastic full-color printing I've seen. I would be very interested to be proven wrong.

Why does the stress go up to 10 even though the thresholds don't?

You can advance more than once on the stress wheel in a turn. For example, let's say the war is not going well at all, and USA takes 12 stress in one turn (with a threshold of 5 in Global Game). It would then advance twice on the stress wheel and still have 2 stress remaining which carries over to the next game round.

If you have a bit of a split personality and/or a memory issues. A big part of the game is trying to outguess your opponent's moves... so that is lost a bit if you know what to expect. But perhaps if you play while drinking?
