Honestly there's still lots of things to test for through April Fools Events. FOX3 is a massive up coming topic, what if they just throw together some very basic models for "futuristic aircrafts" and do a missile thunder FOX3 only mode? They also did mention that they would consider SOME forms of electronic warfare, plenty of things can be done there. Stealth technology is also something they can test for.

That would work well with my "parody of popular media + testing new features" theory I posted about since it could be a parody of Tears of the Kingdom/Baldur's Gate, and test a few different things * Fox 3 missiles for the funny internet debates of "Dragon vs flight of 4 F-15s with Amraams" * PvE gamemodes (like a bossbattle against an airship or a supercarrier with escort) * New Ways to customize vehicles (either for warthunder or Crossout, since Tears of the Kingdom had building mechanics)

I loved the Dune event and would love to see it return. I could also imagine some sort of Cold War focused "Destroy the bomber fleets." with say Hustlers vs SU-15s and Foxbats, or TU-22s vs US Deltas, possibly investigating the plausibility of high tier bombers with reworked maps. One thing I'd love to see Gaijin try is something in the vein of the long dead "Strike Vector", alternating between a plane and helo flight model but depicted as transforming mechs, on a map that is just industrial equipment in the sky.

I think it would be cool to see, but if you’ve ever played IL-2 Flying Circus you can see why it wouldn’t work well with War Thunder’s controls. If you’re banking, it’s impossible to hold the nose in one spot because you just don’t have enough rudder authority. So if you translate that to War Thunder, hitting the aileron keys would cause the nose to drop and the plane to slip off to the side. You can already feel what it’s like with the Po-2. Without a powerful engine to brute-force the plane into whatever orientation you want, having direct control is much more important.

Top gun style event where you play as F-14 and the enemy is in Mig-28's (F-5E's) and you have to build up spawn points in order to bring out an F-18, F-35, Su-57, or any other aircraft that would fit well.

I'd love to see something in the spirit of 'wonder weapons of ww2'. All the cool prototypes or vehicles that where being developed near the end of ww2 in a week long event. Could make a map of like a ww2 style german missle launch site with the v1/v2 and then hidden on a different part the vertical rocket plane that they developed. Maybe some heavy E type tanks partually assembled sitting at a bombed factory (nazi megastructure style). And then the same for like the americans with likewise prototypes that were planned but never made it onto the field to counter the germans. I would personally love this and had this idea for a few years now. Really hope they'll one day do something like this.

Id say something with the 5th gen idea, be it dragons vs planes, or what i personally think would work would be a form of dual form aircraft, something like transforming planes, to test radar, stealth and effects closed and open weapon bays causing a effect on radar signature and such

Seriously. I just got into this game. Even with a vehicle and premium the grind is way too long. For some jets you need expert crew and that’s like almost a million lions. If you spend your lions on that then you can’t afford to buy the jets that you aren’t even going to play. It’s frustrating you can’t research another rank higher unless you buy all the jets or tanks in the previous rank. I feel like I’m just grinding for lions and getting shafted out of RP.

For Mark tanks vs the A7Vs would be difficult, one team would be able to hit a vehicle directly infront of them (Though would need to turn to fire on other vehicles) while one team would have to turn to be able to fire directly in front of them.

Would love to finally get Bismarck or Tirpitz for naval cause we already are progressing into the WW2 stages of it. Maybe even add Iowa, Yamato and several others. Naval is kinda bland at the moment they even teased at the two German vessels coming via some vehicles in game. All aside we need something anything Gaijin. A sink the Bismarck game mode for April fools would be cool. I dunno I'm just spit-balling ideas.

Maybe it would be to test ballistic missiles, expanded use of nuclear bombs, or large strategic bombers. This would be something like "protect the Barbie dream house from being bombed from Ken's B-52s" or whatever. Another potential April fools event I could see happening is a parody of Helldivers to test a new PvE gamemode. Im leaning more towards Barbie/Oppenheimer since that has given them more time since the hype to actually develop models and assets for it. Spoiler for the new Dune part 2 movie (not really since its also in the book) but they use atomic bombs to blow up a mountain to let the worms into a valley to eat the Emperor's troops. They could update the Dune event to test atomic warfare and new terrain deformation physics. Or maybe just crew comfort with tank crews dying of dehydration in the desert lmao. That could also work with Fallout due to the new Fallout TV show. I know I'm wishcasting here but my super out there prediction is that they will do both since they do two events on april fools on a 3 year cycle (2015, 2018, 2021) and the last time they did two events was 3 years ago.

I would love a Naval & Costal battle with modern cruisers and Frigate class as an event, it would be a great way to test modern Ground to Air missiles with lock-ons but it's a similar mission to Invincible fleet.

Personally I think we're going to see something relating to signature reduction, whether that be stealth jets or thermal management for tanks, we're getting to the point in both air and ground that signature reduction is fixing to be a big part of gameplay and if it isnt added wrong it has the chance to be disastrous

Gaijin may test the water with moderne ships and very long range ship to ship missiles. It would be the perfect occasion to test the jets with anti-ship missile and why not later add those modern ships in top-tier air battles as AI unites like the aircraft carriers.

WW-1 could test a way to use IFVs with small commandable AI infantry squads. The infantry could build trenches or take cover in some of the building a making urban fighting a little more challenging. Large muddy maps with trenches could be made for this and they could add the MK-1 and the A-7V, plus other armored cars, prototype tanks, and planes.

They allways used the events as testing grounds for mechanics they add to the future updates, the jet pony event was for jet engines, the UFO event was for hover/vtol jets The future vehicle eve t was for fire and forget atgm like the spike So they'll probably gonna make the next event with some newer mechanic

Silent thunder was my favorite I had just got to my submarine command and it was a Virginia class sub after I shot a torpedo and it was another Virginia class I’d go I know where to hit you to get the one shot kill.
