Loved the addition of the phase of combat at the bottom. Haven’t seen it laid out like that before and this is really informative.

Nice video :D, do you have any advice on how to improve aim in situations like dives or high speed engagements ? I got trouble hitting targets unless they're slow or in a stall or something.
@Renta3523 жыл бұрын
Practice. It's something you'll eventually get a sense of, like throwing a ball. BnZ planes are the best for practicing shots at oblique angles. Also, make sure to practice with only one gun at a time. For example, if you're trying to get a sense of shooting with M2 .50 cals, only use planes armed with M2s.
@Unused912873 жыл бұрын
@@Renta352 Ah ok. Well at the moment I'm mainly playing Russians and getting the feel of ShVaks. They're a bit awkward to aim sometimes lol. Also do you use vertical targeting for planes with multiple calibers of guns ? Like fw190
@Renta3523 жыл бұрын
@@Unused91287 I never use vertical targeting, because the adjustments only work at a certain range when flying level and uninverted.

You really are a beast, man, making it look so easy. what set up are you using for the controls?
@Renta352 Жыл бұрын
I have: - throttle mapped to "W" and "S" - roll mapped to "A" and "D" - yaw mapped to "Q" and "E" - pitch mapped to the buttons on the side of my gaming mouse ...such that all of the aircraft controls are nearby when I'm using WASD and the mouse.

Why universal ammo belt on both the mg151 and the mg FF? I thought air targets was best because it has more of the mine shell rounds
@Renta3523 жыл бұрын
I prefer the tracer ratio in universal belts. It helps with my aim.

My problem is i always chicken out when the enemy knows I'm diving on them and they perform a break. I always pull off and gain alt again as I'm too afraid of over commiting to the attack and being dragged down to the deck.
@bezimienny_andzej64253 жыл бұрын
It's a matter of experience. Eventually you'll get the right approach and you'll know when to commit. Try Do-335 A1 and A0 for practice, They have excellent high speed handling and guns that work very well vs targets pulling hard due to v. high muzzle velocity (MK103, and in case of A1 - MG151 - 15mm, A0 has an option for 20mm and I'd recommend those because MK103 runs out of ammo v. quick and 2 20mm will still get the job done, just with more deflection).

ah, so when your enemy is energy fighting, aim your mouse at him to perform roll with enemy and extend flaps to make enemy overshot. got it, but how to know when to cut throttle without fearing losing air speed?
@Renta3523 жыл бұрын
How to counter an energy fighting enemy depends on the aircraft you're in and what aircraft you're facing. In the Fw.190 vs. Bf.109 example, both aircraft accelerate well in a dive, but the Fw.190 is slightly better at it. So, I could afford to cut throttle for a short while, let the 109 accelerate past me, and then pour on the coals to follow. Energy fighting tactics really exist on a case-by-case level.
