You're so good. It amazes me, how you manage to take down yak-3's (which i thought were near immune in a turn/energy fight) with my least favorite spitfire! I guess staying at lower alt pays off, because i still feel like it performs worse than fw190 at 4-5+ km

teaching others how to energy fight in a clipped spitfire is a interesting choice on you side. Also you could J-out immediately and spawn back in a new plane as long as you are on the af with a undamaged plane.

As this video states, "all air combat is energy combat". Every airplane, from fighters to bombers, has to be mindful of their energy state. If you need more context as to what exactly energy fighting is, I'd recommend you watch my videos, "Fighter School: Air Combat Basics" and "Fighter School: Advanced Air Combat".

Sorry I didn't see this comment earlier. I started out on Japan because low wing loading aircraft are more forgiving to beginners. It's also easier to learn to aim when your aircraft can stick behind a less maneuverable enemy.
