If we get to push rail carts out of their tracks like in the trailer, the update is 100% good. PS: We need more WW2 and that kinda vehicles not just modern stuff, and the finnish subtree should also be refreshed, along with the swedish tree overall.

Correction: the IFV was cold war era luchs and it is from germany, the tank was Kv-7 (u-13) and yes it has three guns, the nighthawk does not feature any guns, so i think it won't be that op, i also heard it will be a clan but not confirmed info, the helicopter was mi-24 superhind (probably mk.III or mk.IV)

The hind is probably the South African Mi-24 SuperHind Mk.II. It's a significant upgrade pack for the hind produced by South Africa so I'd say it's fair to add it to their tree

It might be a slight bit inaccurate, but the F-117N variant was proposed to carry AIM-120 AMRAAM air-to-air missiles, maybe this could help the aircraft in how it fits in the tree. As the F-117A has no Air-to-Air armaments.

From what I saw, the Nighthawk will be basically invisible from the front, but can be picked up more easily from the sides/back, similar to real life

F-117 is so immune to radar that it was shot down by Yugoslavian S-125 IRL. So, possibly, Nighthawk will be spotted by radars, but on closer distance

The F-117 is designed to reduce signature as much as possible on a direct approach, but all those flat surfaces means that from some angles, it’s actually very visible. For ground SAMs and SPAAs, it’s gonna be visible when it opens its bomb bay, potentially giving players who are already looking in their direction enough time to react. I don’t think it’ll be a very overpowered aircraft. Also it’s very slow and has no countermeasures nor air to air weapons, it’s completely defenseless to the point that even something like a MiG-19 has a high chance to kill it in a match.

For SPAA, it’ll only be overly visible from basically directly overhead due to the mostly flat bottom. From the air it’s likely a different story

The ifv is the german Spähpanzer 2 Luchs. It will be very similar to the wiesel 1a4/xm800t/type 87rcv p as it has the same 20mm.

I love that they had a whole developer comment in the Tornado GR4 dev blog about the Brimstone being like "Oh we aren't giving it its fire and forget capabilities cause that would be too broken and there would be no counter to it" and then the very same day release a trailer showing the SU34 firing off a bunch of long range highly modern fire and forget missiles right at the end of it. Because, you know, its not broken if its a Russian plane doing it but oh no no no we can't have a British aircraft doing that that's broken guys

You literally have to be the only one who has said “I didn’t think the teaser would come today” every single other person suspected it would come today following the last couple update patterns, you missed the T77, the IFV is the Luchs and there will be plenty interested in that, the helicopter is the superhind, you missed HMS valiant as well, and the start was showing off ray tracing, the Sam system is the patriot

I don't scan online for war thunder update patterns. I want at least some surprise when it comes to the game because it sure as hell isn't going to be the content of said trailers which excites me

@@thesnazzycomet you dont need to scan online for the patterns youve seen them play out, you need to understand your an unorthodox player who sticks to WW2 content but thats not whats going to get them sales, people want the shiny new stuff thats what sells look at all the Su-25s and A-10s and J35XS and skyhawks flying around by low level players, light tanks are a very popular class but here you are saying no ones interested in that, very out of touch, i played the XM800 last night spaded it in style got a nuke in it, dont get me wrong i like my props and WW2 as well the B26 was one of my favorite additions now i want things like IL-40 and 102, the Martin P6M sea master, B50, B45, XB-51, more flying wings, XP-72, all that cool stuff in your aircraft you want in war thunder videos, theres also a bunch of cool props that were in a leak by a modelling company 100 years ago now, things like a japanese plane with contra rotating props and Russian float plane those sorts of things i go for first when new patches drop

you know i think the only vehicles i'm looking forward to from this update is the russian prototype tank, that looks like a t62, and yeah the su 34 fullback now that is one aircraft on actually looking forward to partly do because it's a ground attacker, end of versailles it would actually look quite good in second world war german markings why because i know why not. (i've only just found this out so i apologise, the f-117 nighthawk guess what it doesn't come with any kind of measures, go to put it bluntly the minute someone fires a missile at you guess what you just die. unless gaijin gives it it's stealth capability which i doubt)

The whole point of the F-117’s being is it’s stealth capability. And RCS is already modeled in game, surprisingly. They may very well add it

@@thesnazzycomet dude....shadows and lighting is different. Looks like ray tracing is being added. The textures are different aswell. The tree animations are more refined. I guess eventually you picked up some atmospheric changes but the whole lighting looks completely upgraded.

Great, just what the game needed, another shell bouncing op Russian tank. They’ll probably start it out at 3.0 BR and ruin Realistic Ground Battles for Allied tank players for a year until they raise it to 5.0

@@thesnazzycomet I don’t know anything about that particular tank tbh, I’m an old fart whose parents lived through the bombing of London during the Battle of Britain and grew up with tales of air raids and dogfights. I like playing early WW2 (3.3 to 4.3 BR) stuff mostly in ground RB where I try to get up in a plane. I face T34s and KV1s on a regular basis in tanks of the same BR whose shells bounce off them regularly and I’ve become skeptical about anything Russian that Gaijin adds to the game. They just recently added aphe ground belt rounds to Russian planes with 45mm cannons like the Yak 9K. This makes the Tis-Ma a one shot one kill tank destroyer.
