i will say i slightly disagree, the kungstiger is good just for the fact sweden gets it.. is it bad for a battlepass? yes, do i agree with everything else? yes to me this is just a 2500GE for a premium heavy tank for sweden, which im okay with.. sucks that its in the battlepass but i love it

At least it’s the early variant and not the H or 10.5cm. I used to play Arcade so I can pretty much punch a Tiger II P with my 10.5cm Tiger no problem

I'm a bit late to the party, but another vehicle that I think wasn't great for a battlepass was the 76mm M551 Sheridan, I do think it's not a bad tank, but to start with it is just a direct upgrade from the M41 Walker Bulldog since it uses the same cannon but is stabilized, is smaller and faster and is only .7 of a BR higher, however I still don't think it's a great tank because you can really only use the APDS round it fires even though the 76mm in the late 50s has a HEAT-T round developed for it, which would make this tank much more viable since APDS in general is super wonky in War Thunder, the HEAT-T round it fired was the M496, the same HEAT round that the T92 uses in game, (Even though it's classified as a HEAT-FS round) it pisses me off because this would be the main ammunition that would've been used for the 76mm Sheridan if it were to have gone into production, but Gaijin thinks otherwise and I'm stuck with a hit or miss APDS shell to deal damage, which mind you isn't bad for 7.0, but I'd like my rounds to be consistent rather than just a gamble each time

11:38 "Is war thunder running out of vehicles" is probably the saddest thing i've heard. I like browsing the War Thunder suggestion forums because there are so many interesting vehicles there. Some vehicles are picked and sendt to the developers and maybe 20% of the vehicles passed on to Gaijin gets implemented into the game. There are SO many vehicles that does not get a spotlight even though they have such an interesting story behind them, both in developement and use.

So the odd thing is that Gaijin modeled the sensor box on the turret of Flagstaff which the M551 had to have to fire MGM-51 Shillelaghs. In real life the Flagstaff’s turret never had this and was left empty, the Navy planned to install it and test the viability of the Shillelagh but the program was canned and Flagstaff was deployed to Vietnam. In War Thunder it would 100% be viable for her to have Shillelagh missiles or HEAT like the regular M551, if Gaijin wanted to be historically accurate they should’ve only gave her a training round for the M551 turret as that was the only thing she ever did fire with that turret installed. Even then we only have record of her firing *once* and that was it. Flagstaff in my opinion should get the extra ordinance to give her a leg up in engagements with larger ships, outside of her turret she’s a fairly weak ship but a good addition to the BP. All around the BP choices for air and ground could have been more unique but I will still pick these vehicles up, the P-51 to help grind my China air tree and the King Tiger to help fill out my 6.7 Sweden line-up. More importantly I can do heavy tank tasks with the Swedish King Tiger.

I agree (sort of). This battle pass has probably the worst vehicles because its just copy paste and not very intresting. But I will stand by adding the Kungstiger, although not as a battle pass vehicle. Sweden needs more vehicles at 6.7. congrats on 3000k subs man, love to see it!

I actually like the tiger 2 here, mainly because of the history about it and the little details they gave it that are historically accurate. The p51 however is just a disappointment, and I agree we should have 4 vehicles in the battle pass once agian.

This battle pass could've been fixed by simply going back to 4 vehicles per battle pass, then having the 4th vehicle being something more interesting as the *actual* top prize. If there were 4 vehicles per battle pass, having 2 of them be copy-paste fillers wouldn't be so bad. Just add a CF-100 Canuck or a CA-27 Avon Sabre for Britain and this would've actually been a good battle pass.

American T34, T-26E1-1, Just generally anything at 6.7 with a long 90mm or bigger can destroy that lower front plate 7/10. Every time i went against anything use the Tiger II hull thats my favorite spot to smack cause most German players have NO IDEA that the lower front plate is weak Sidenote: If they need new vehicles to add to the battlepass. There are a PLETHORA of experimental vehicles that got at least some sort of use/Low Production Numbers/Or even function Mockups that they could add. Heck one that would be good would be the M7 Priest for USA even.

I use the same for all the U.S. heavies as well lol. I don’t know how many times I’ve used the lower plate on a T-29/34 or sailed through the ufp on the T-26e1 with the Tiger II 10.5cm. That or when they angle their hull slightly and I can punch through the weak side armor

The Battle Pass indeed got worse... that's business. Make a cool product to interest the masses, then progressively make it worse to maximise profit. If you don't like it don't buy it, it's quite simple really. For 16,5 € you're getting a rank IV premium and 10 days of premium account (which is already a steal compared to store prices, the King Tiger Pack costs 40 € as an example), plus all the other crap over it and the ability to make some profit by selling that stupid P-51 if yoy don't like it enough to keep it (which can net you enough to buy another BP season... but don't tell it to anyone! It's a secret...). The Kungstiger isn't copy-paste, both 3d and damage models are entirely new. U.S.A. doesn't really need a heavy tank around 6.7 and their King Tiger would be more suited as an event reward as a result. Which leads me to... Every tech tree should have access to all vehicle classes. It's not about "you don't need a heavy to make a good tech tree", it's about parity. There are daily and special tasks and Battle Pass challenges that require heavy tank kills. If you're a japanese, italian, swedish or israeli main you're basically screwed. Japan's only rank III+ heavy is the HT N° VI, which was kindly removed from the store by Gaijin a long time ago and now can only be had for absurd prices on the Marketplace. Italy has recently got the hungarian Tiger E, premium or course so open up the wallet please. Sweden just got the Kungstiger. Israel... forget heavys for now. It's sad to have them all locked behind a pay wall, but at least it's not like the Japan situation. Israel is a good tech tree? First time I hear someone imply that, especially considering your clear distaste for copy-pasted vehicles. Half their tree is the same effing tank with more crap thrown on top. Lastly... do we need weird and unique vehicles on the Battle Pass? No, I prefer them in the tree or as free event rewards, not locked behind a paywall (however small that may be).

We have been complaining about not having a heavy tank. Dailies need heavy tanks sometimes and it'd be nice. Now we are complaining that it is in a fucking BP and not the dam tech tree. At least this tank existed unlike some certain other things like the Japanese TD or all the NVDs on the T tanks that never even had them.

@@thesnazzycomet if sweden is your first nation, heavy tank tasks are impossible for you. and you likely wont have the skills in any other nation to make those heavy tanks practical. so each nation should have atleast one usable tank/plane of every class to be used. like for now sweden my main nation, if i need heavy tanks i am more or less stuck with the maus or one of the tiger tanks.

The sad thing is power creep has killed the heavy tank as a whole. I used to play heavies all the time but here lately I just keep getting pp slapped by vehicles with heatfs. I really don’t play anymore since they bumped the Tiger II 10.5cm back up to 7.0, best tank I had 2k to 800 KD. Now I can’t even get one kill before some cold war tank at 6.0 kills me with heatfs or sabot

As a military vehicle enjoyer, I personally I want every vehicle that existed and every vehicle that nvr existed, every vehicle that got tested, had weapons, didn't had weapons in the game. Its a game, gone are the days when WT was historically accurate down to the MM even. It's a game to have fun with vehicles and the more vehicles the better. I want my Su-37 and Su-47 since These two are my top fav vehicles in aviation. Problem is gaijin releases copy or similar enough vehicles as major ones in new updates which come after a long time.

Yea the KV122 is awesome. If you stay in second line you can delete everything. Also yes this BP is lame. If it was a Tiger II with Schmalturm I would have grinded for it, but this paper turret? No... Here comes the conspiricy: they plan on putting the Tiger II (H) on 7.0 soon so they give Sweden the 6.7 version xD
