I think a good April Fools event would be an ultra-realistic game mode where all the vehicles handle like they would in real life: engines killing themselves if your drivers’ stat isn’t high enough, tanks without certain components that were hard to come by during their production run, paper tanks spawning as their mock up, limited fuel and special effects for the crew like fume inhalation. It would be a nightmare but, like, a funny nightmare.

Yeah and also powertrain and armament damage is unfixable in field and track repair takes 5 hours in-game time. Turret rotation device damage can only be fixed if the vehicle had a hand-crank backup. For every non-pen hit on your vehicle, 10% chance crew bails out. Pen non-damage 25% chance. Stacking 50% chance of crew bailing for every dead crewmember (50% -> 75% -> 100%)

In WoT the gun performance isn't good enough to justify becoming a slightly larger target (it's wider, same height), and while the speed is noticeable, it's also not a gun that really lends itself to the HSTV-L tactic of getting into insane positions instantly. It's definitely a neat vehicle but even in a full simulator I think you can do better for the time period, steel, and given how it wasn't serialized... It lives or dies on fake stat additions like a lower reload time or a wider shrapnel cone. In WoT it's just HP for speed which is a neutral trade.

You should give the Sargeant Bork (the VEAK 40) a try. It got it's proxy fuse shells removed in a recent patch, but in return got moved down almost a full BR to 7.7, where it now rules the skies. It's really good at killing anything that comes closer than 2km, and at 7.7 you will frequently downtier to 6.7 and see prop planes, so this would be a great opportunity to get some revenge against those pesky CAS birds

It's crazy how people think the king tiger is bad. Even in a full uptier it can easily kill anything it faces, its practically stabilized in cities or generally flat-ish ground, and in downtiers it just flattens everything and basically just lets you solo a cap point.

Also it is tremendously slow, lacking any sign of maneuverability, has no side armor (Speaking of frontal armor, Porsche has no armor at all, H'sl armor at 6.7 is pretty debatable) which is making you an easy pray for anything nimble. Ah, yes, and King Tiger is so massive, that is nearly impossible to not get bullied by CAS. So gun, which has an amazing penetration and reloading speed, but not the best damage out there, is pretty much the one and only advantage of this tank. IMHO, KT, relatively to wonderful american heavies is worse for the reality of War Thunder. But it is, again in my opinion, better than IS-2.

My favorites are the trees who's hitbox is 10 feet larger than the model so either your plane explodes against empty air, or you knock down a tree from 5 feet away giving away your epic flank.

"It looks longer"; I think it is ever so slightly longer than the other Tiger IIs in the game. The Swedish Tiger has an entirely new model that is not only higher resolution (with actually detailed internals) but is also the correct size/scale/dimensions. The German Tiger IIs have models that are not 100% accurate
