Well it was struggling back in the day, so im guessing now with all the new tanks with better ammo it become obsolete, it used to be 7.0 so you always play 8.0 battles, in a phanter with reverse guear lol

@@StoneCoolds don't think it was struggling, it was and is very good, good speed (faster than tigers), good reverse, good aiming characteristics (as most of germans), good zoom, good gun makes it worthy opponent at its br. Of course at 7.7 it struggles, as almost every 6.7 vehicle, but it's common problem. The cons are bad armour (of turret and lower frontal) and high repair cost of 12000. But all in all it's good vehicle.

BR-412D can pen Panther 2 up to 200 meters reliably while BR-412B can pen Panther 2 at roughly 1000 meters. Its one of the few cases where the B shell is actually much better than the D.

I have both with fully aced crews and are very similar tanks, The panther is a little bit better in a 1 vs many situation because of the faster acceleration and reload, the only downside about the panther is that u have german players in your team and they just rush to the point like zombies....

It isn't, it's slower it's gun doesn't pen as much and the gun depression is less. Mobility is worse but where it is good is bouncing shells and it's not a tall vehicle so you can hide easily.

T-44-100 for me, it can pen the panther literally anywhere. And armor is more reliable. Panther II is just like a lesser Tiger II, constant disintegration through your weak ass turret.

In reverse Panther is a kitty playing with a mouse. Now zebras have a higher top speed than lions. Yet lions catch zebras all the time. How? Simple, the lions can accelerate to their top speed in a shorter distance. If the lions can get close enough (say within 20 m) they cover the first say 50 m before the zebra covers 25 m = zebra for dinner. So, wouldn't the Panther II's better initial acceleration be tactically better (not to mention its superiority in reverse)? In a pursuit the T44-100 has the advantage.

T-44-100 doesn't have neutral steering, so only one track moves on one side, but with neutral steering like on the panther 2, ine track moves forward and the other one backwards, allowing it to turn on the spot
