2 things: If you have a premium account then it’s best you don’t disable auto repair because you will be compensated your repair cost. Also mechanics skill doesn’t impact whether or not he can freely repair a vehicle of a given rank. It impacts whether or not the Repair Speed crew skill applies to higher ranked vehicles.

You will only be xompensated if you'd go negative Lets say you made 8K, but your repair costs were 10K. You will be compensated 2K, resulting in a net zero Now, if you DON'T turn on auto repair, you'll get 8K in that same match, and your 10K repair will go away over time. Resulting in a net 8K.

Free repair takes a long time, varying with vehicle rank and crew skill. If you are doing this with an active premium account, you are hindering yourself.

If low on silver lions play low BR due to lower repair cost and higher fun. If you have an MBT and you think you would be able to kill one with a low tier vehicle, go for God Mode achievement in high BR. Easiest combo for it is Leopard 2 with Sturmpanzer 2 in my opinion.

another tip for the scouting is even if u have a great shot on it scout it so u can keep track of the tank incase you get giajied and the game fucks you over with your shot it will keep them marked on the map so you can keep track of them after they run

The HE shell tip is really important. At least carrying around 2 or 3 HE has always been enough for me so far. Enough to give you some flexibility if you dont hit your first shot, or if theres another one.

I always keep my automatic repairs and ammo replenishment off. It saves me a lot of SL in the long run, especially since I play all the different nations and their army branches. I have also made sure to level up the repair skill on all of my crews to the adequate level, so that most of my vehicles are repaired overnight.

Amature, the true and the only best way to grind silver lions is to make a low br lineup and take 1 high br tank. For example, for germany you can take: sturmpanzer 2, puma, and the rest can be spaa's and ofcourse 1 high br tank, if you dont have a tank that is atleast 7.0 or 7.3 ask a friend and be in a squad with them.

If you you are not the sharpest tool in the box, when it comes to RB - move to arcade for the time you research new tank, that you want. With skills in RB that you have you will rip and tear arcade players, who are used to just shot in silhouette. If in RB I get 5 kills in a match every 100 matches - in arcade I get it every 10 matches

Yes some aspects are unfair, CAS is ine of those things in ground forces that needs a nerf. Easiest way to nerf it do what they did for arcade and put a time limit on how long a player can be in a plane for. Ive also noticed that in each oarch gaijin manges to fuck things up that werent there the previous patch i was paying a couple days ago and noticed the invisible tank bug was back again

Best tip I'd offer is simply don't grind. Instead, play a BR for extensive periods of time until you've earned multiple new vehicles and can set up entire lineups when you bump your BR up. You'll also get better faster by playing the same BR over and over and really mastering it, then creeping up slowly. Also, top tier isn't worth the grind. Seriously consider just playing WWII as the game is at its best between 3.0 - 5.7 BR.

Turn off auto repair even if you are still playing. Especially in lower tiers the vehicles get repaired quick, and even if you go to the next match you will save on every moment the vehicle was free repairing in the hangar. 5 minutes in a tech tree? SL saved. Going to play a different lineup? SL saved. Time to sleep or eat? SL saved.

Real tips: 1. NEVER carry HE, especially in high tier, they will just blow up in your tank when penned 2. Never carry full ammo load. Less ammo = less chance to get ammo racked. Every tank is slightly different with they ammo storage location, so just check with the Xray mode where your ammo is located and keep reducing the amount till you only have ammo in your autoloader or ready-depot. Plus less ammo = less restock cost when you die 3. Replenish your ammo and smokes at friendly control zones for FREE
