As a surv hunter main, tip of the spear was never a random proc and was always generated by kill command, both pre TWW and with the talent changes. The change is that now, instead of dumping the entirety of its up to three stacks on a single use of raptor/mongoose, they are consumed one at a time and affect other abilities now, too. Additionally, flanking strike has added synergy by generating two stacks of tip

FS is kind of a mess because of the order it consumes and generates stacks in. It can generate 0,1,2 and in worst cases even subtract 1

Windwalker main here. It's nice that they got rid of the Chi-ji fishing in Dragonflight. For context. Yes technically Chi-ji is a random proc but in big aoe pulls you would fish for Chi-ji procs by spamming spinning crane kick inbetween tiger palms and black out kick at 4 stacks.

I have seen the clips taken from the live streams on the other channel though but ofc they're edited somewhat too. I can understand how your perception of him could be as you described because my gf had similar feelings and it stopped her from watching the streams. I personally have seen some of the rant stuff but I haven't felt the toxic part myself but like I said I haven't watched the streams live other than the podcast thing. I haven't played wow since the Eternal Palace raid in BFA but I still can't help but watch these videos describing the gameplay mechanics of classes. They're just fun to listen to and figure out what the state of the game is currently in. Glad to see they made snap shotting bleeds the primary damage to my feral druid again. Part of the reason i left was they kicked it in the teeth in BFA compared to Legion. Almost makes me want to come back and recapture my old rank on the national charts among feral druids but I don't hate myself enough to make the tendonitis in my thumb worse trying to get back into the game.

how on earth did they think a coinflipping-fantasy was befitting for rogue? trickster fits in theme, deathstalker fits with the shadowtheme as well... how about sth. that defined rogues since vanilla? like.. poisons? how about an apothecary hero-tree? you enhance the flasks you throw as an ass-rogue, but also fits for the outlaw rogue. throw your vials, coat your arms in special poison as a dmg boost or whatnot.. there's so many things that you could do

Anytime I hear someone say this feels old school like Tali said about feral druids and arms warriors, I get extremely nervous. Old school feel in a modern game just comes off as clunky and slow with way too much downtime oftentimes. Also, wtf blizz...some of these hero talent trees are insane with the awesomeness (riders of the apocalypse/mountain thane especially) while over half of them are just plain boring with almost no active abilities and no flash to them either. Why do you keep implementing new systems that you clearly don't have the time/ability to balance them all correctly because of the number of specs in the game.

haven't played since BFA but I just bought war within and am coming back. I had planned to main my DK which is what I used in Legion and BFA with windwalker being my second favorite. glad to hear they are all doing really well but I will main unholy as since DK release in wrath it has been my favorite thematically. The issue with DH is that it needs a fel of a rework, mechanically is very clunky, I think using the last patchs 4 piece sets as a starting point would help a lot. You could have a glaive build, or a demonic build for example instead of a keep doing the same but with more damage rework that we have seen before.

As a Paladin (all Specs) I can't really argue with Tali's statements about Ret. Paladin isn't all sunshine & rainbows: It has issues with clunkiness, going OOM when Supporting, and it's Talents are now a mangled mess. But Ret is still undeniably Fun and for the average WoW Player what Tali said is accurate enough.

Is Assa better now than in DF? Debatable. I would say not having the burstiness is better and lets be real the whole Kingsbane window was kind of wild. That said, The loss of Shadowdance is a huge loss for M+ let alone making the spec more fluid. A lot and i mean A LOT of Assa's kit hinges on "from stealth" mechanics. Even Deathstalker wants a ambush from stealth (which is not exactly what you are aiming to do as an assa rogue mind you). I really hope that Assa gets a bit more love before things go live, not just number tweaks. I would say a generally good way to handle the situation would be to either give another charge of Vanish to Assa specifically via talents or make Vanish into a 1min CD via talents. This potentially could solve some issues in M+ and make the gameplay much more fluid. I understand that they added Without a Trace into the rogue tree but its far too down the tree let alone the stuff you get to get to said talent is mostly already done in the assa tree.
