Don't forget about the cave dweller potions, they don't share a cooldown with the normal health potions and they give 3m HP. They are 5 gold as well on my server.

Looking into playing WOW again, last expansion was Lich King as Boomkin and Tank with Forlorn Legacy, with a fresh account. What class would be the way to go to start PVE? Playing with my son and I am too old to raid like I did back in the day

Fury warrior could be good as you can tank or dps to play with your son. Also not the most complicated rotation for either. If you just want to dps for dungeons/delves or open world stuff BM hunter could be good. Simplish rotation, if you like melee survival hunter is really fun and melee now. Plus can still have a tanking pet.

when he brought up the Divine Shield bit, it just brought back so many memories from TBC / WOTLK era, when boss is at 1% HP and I'm last one standing, I just pop divine and kill boss. that same thing happened again recently with Ansurek and I was so happy inside :')

I always tell my disabled / boomer friends to just not even bother with other specs. It's a win win -- the skill floor is so high they can't really mess the rotation up AND they still die all the time cause they just stand in everything and never use their defensives -- despite having enough range to not really have to care about most melee mechanics. Gotta keep padding those death statistics so Blizzard can justify buffing our defensives despite having so many ways to not die. And hey, when they still can't do the rotation, I just set them up on Gnome Sequencer with a 1 button DPS macro and an auto clicker. Even they can't mess that up and it's not even half bad.

Yo dude haste is bugged or got needed this expansion so is suggest using 10% haste at most. I was a big haste enjoyer but it’s actually worthless as a star since you also get 50+ % from talent enchants embellishments etc

I must be the only ret pally running Templar Strikes instead of the auto attack talent. I like the quick 2 holy power building playstyle between double crusader and judgment. Even with having the worst weapon possible, a 603 low crit high vers 2h (very unlucky vault), I'm still consistently top 3 dps I'm dungeons, group delves, and LFR. [I main holy pally in regular raids, and just lfr on off spec]?

I dont mind playing a simple spec sometimes but the current iteration of Ret is a bit too simple, its only 3 Buttons, thats almost as bad as Legion Havoc DH

@@Akon998 I dont give a F about Tier lists, i play Affliction and Unholy as my 2 mains since WotlK, no matter how well its performing on the "meta" and i only play Ret when i dont want to overburden my Eyes with all the Tracking these 2 specs have. And the core rotation right now is only Judgement, Blade of Justice and your spender. I dont count big CDs as core rotation thats why i call it a 3 Button spec. I dont mind the option to make skills like Crusader strike passive, but it should always do less DMG then the active option

@@Paeddl I never said that ret was a hard spec, fact is that ret spec and overall feel of the spec is to relax while playing, rotation is fairly simple compared to the most specs (I would say best spec to play as a beginner player together with fury warr, frost dk, bm hunter, even arms and unholy are not that hard), but no it is not 3 buttons at all, and you actually have to do your rotation right to really pump ESPECIALLY in st fights Still people trash talk on ret way too much but i mostly leave all those s-tier specs in dust in high keys and i love it

Actually, the pre season ret sims were off. Aggregated data has ret at A tier (you think they’re shit from an inaccurate tier list) but anyone actually playing the game knows ret is blasting diabolically.
