Starting from today I will be releasing three missions each day. Since the algorithm pretty much screwed my videos, you might wanna check my channel to see the new released episodes. Notifications simply doesn't work for us anymore.

@@xzaalp It's ok, I already finished the campaign xD But I must say that yesterday was pretty rough as I played and edited 3 missions in one day.

If you are talking about the game difficulty I am playing on Story mode (easy) so missions take 90mins at most. But the video editing kills me since it takes as much time as the gameplay. The only thing that kept me playing for long is they made missions, cutscenes and gameplay so great that I couldn't stop playing them. I seriously think that this is the best custom campaign ever made for Warcraft 3 so far. @@Morec0

I envy of KZbinrs like GGG and Jay because they probably only working on thumbnails and gameplay while I am killing myself with editing the whole thing, haha. But honestly I don't like full mission playthroughs because more than half of them are repetitive base operations and combats. I just prefer to focus on objectives and dialogues which are mostly unique in a mission.

Gul'dan perfromed many experiments to get the death knights working and later the ogre magi with the power of the runestone. By the time of the second, success was much quicker. Gul'dan is basically the biggest bastard in orcish history. The Stormreavers were organized by Gul'dan after the Shadow Council was destroyed so he could protect himself. It also had a focus on shipbuilding, for a bery particular reason you will likely see. Goblins strapped sub pods and torpedo launcers to giant turtles to use as underwater weapons. Gul'dan was instrumental in the attack on Quel'thalas because he started messing with the runestones there, but the Horde just didn't have the time to commit to actually breaking into the city so he couldn't succeed. God the Alrar of Storms sound is so nostalgic... Which yeah, this is the origin of the Altars of Storms you can see in a few places in in WoW. Ogrim gave Gul'dan a long leash as the warlock aided the Horde. Eventually that proved a problem.

I honestly wish someone makes an OG WC3 compatible version of this without the updated assets from reforged. It's not fair, it's too good. Love they work the authors did for it.
@farseer20439 ай бұрын
I understand that you'd like to see this campaign in SD but many, if not the majority of these assets were made specifically for this campaign, and it was the significant part of the creators' work which they don't seem to abandon.
@fronatomy62809 ай бұрын
@@farseer2043 Yeah, highly unlikely the creators would do something like that. Some other mapper could probably reverse engineer and demake it provided they have the blessing and permission of the original creators. But that would also take a lot of time and dedication though. A lot of custom stuff need to be taken and/or made to make it possible. And I doubt anyone has the heart for the pressure of possibly butchering the hardwork of a lot of people invovled in making it.

This mission reinforces what I already felt about Gul'dan: he is one of the most delightfully despicable villains in Warcraft, and fiction itself. Having his voice lines from HotS adds to it, as Troy Baker does an excellent job conveying the malice, sadism and lust for power that embodies Darkness Incarnate.

Was Orgrim such a fool to give Gul'Dan so much freedom to make his own force?
@Krogoth5129 ай бұрын
Orgrim pragmatically need the influence of Gul'dan with former Shadow Council aligned portions of the horde or risk a wider inter-Horde war. Orgirm thought would could easily quell down any rebellion such it arise. He had later demonstrated this but it happened at very inopportune time. It gave the Alliance the second breath that it needed to launch a counter-offensive.
@BadassHater19 ай бұрын
Well Gul'Dan was right in a sense that the Horde NEEDED warlocks since the shamans became pretty much non-existent while humans and elves had magic on their side. Orcs are mighty warriors sure but when the enemy is literally raining fire upon you while sitting behind a magical barirer they were screwed in the long run. So yeah - the Horde needed magic on their side too and trying to remake the shamans from scratch would take too much time. Meaning the Alliance could gather up their forces and drive them out. But yes - as Gul"Dan and his minions proved themselves on the battlefield Orgrim wasn't expecting the betrayal at the worst time possible. The orc campaign is partially canon in a way that the Horde razed Hillsbrad, almost clapped the elves, enslaved the red dragonflight and went after Gul'Dan to the Broken Isles. But Gul'Dan's betrayal played a key part in a successive counter-attack that let the Alliance take the win in the end.

Gul'dan talks about Ogre Empire like it was unable to create its own army of ogre mages, but that is not truth. They could, but its emperors (ogre mages themselves) did not want risk being defeated by a competition and jealously guarded their magical secrets. Cho'gall escaped from the empire, because he (not a nobility) got big influence and power, enough to be considered a danger by those on the top, so they tried to kill the ogre mage.

Piece of old lore, the majority of orcs used to be illiterate, Utok was an exception and would constantly be chronicling events, which other orcs saw as idle 'scratching'
