If you look on a bigger picture, I would say Gardon is using Vanessa as to suggest the orcs that not all humans are not monsters but in reality like other races, Gardon is purposely manipulating the orcs into doing all their fighting against demons which means humans and orcs are unwittedly working together. You can say the same for the Undead, but this whole thing about Gardon might suggest that despite being the darkest human of all, he's no different from humans as witnessed in the last chapter that Aridon manipulated the humans into fighting the invaders which refers to Gardon and his Ironfist army. This might mean that Aridon seems to be aware of the entire events in Arkain. The question is: Is Gardon an undead in disguise? Is he secretly one of Aridon's servants? We may never know until the Second Undead Book materializes.

Maybe Vanessa is already dead before Sasrogarn and Rath got to her. Then Aridon resurrect her and turn her into Undead likr what he did to that Demon (who i forgot his name), and then Aridon ordered Vanessa to infiltrate the orc for information. Well, it's just only my opinion.

i feel like they should put that vanessa would turn undead only if you destroy sasrogarn base in the naval mission, i don't know, it feels weird to me vanessa dying despite sasrogarn making an rescue mission.

There were what I assume to be creeps in the very bottom of the map behind the mushroom trees that your original workers were harvesting. At some point in the previous video they attacked the ones harvesting lumber. I think you skipped them.

in this mission i mad rushed to posses the base to the right... later i had the idea to destroy some buildings and kill some of their workers to take control of their gold mine... Result: i got the gold mine and the AI started attacking there but opps that base is my ally :3

umm jay the books aren't separated they're connected. My speculation is that in the orc book the vanessa that we saved was a fake vanessa and the real vanessa is actually dead. That's why is the orc book vanessa so invested in helping the humans and in one of the missions we see dead vanessa along with dead vanessa. I'm guessing that gardon got a women that's similar to vanessa's height and used a spell to make her look like vanessa. Maybe wrong just speculation

If you're right, isn't it more likely that Aridon is using Vanessa to slow down the Orcs? We know that he has at least one servant that hide the fact that he's undead, Lord Mazigar (or what the name of the Demon from The Forgotten mission), and it fits with the Archlich's manipulative nature.

No I don't think so. Because in the second orc book Vanesaa still objects Rangul genocide thing. If you played the second orc book,Vanessa could be alive or dead killed by the redfist. The undead probably resurrected her after she was killed. And then,finally destroy the Bloodrinker Legion. Don't forget in the epilogue of SoB Amari told something about imperial border. And in the undead last mission the imperials there are named as Imperial Guard Border. Which means the last mission probably overlaps with SoB.

Anyway it's still possible if Vanessa somehow died when the orc tried to rescue in the Undead timeline. You can see somehow Blen wasn't in prison in the SoB

With the atleast,10 arcane towers and 4 mortar teams,you could have just mashed R/whatever flare hotkey is into the black areas.But yeah,its not like using the cheat makes difference in the end,especially if you reload the game.And you know,maybe there are some people who will complain about it,but hey,no one cares about them!
