Just stumbled across your review.. great job communicating the different varients of how gold works... I'm a 6yr swgoh vet 2yr Raid player and a 16yr mmo gamer.. So this appeals to me on many levels.. I'm pre-registered and stoked to see what live gives. As many tower defense games (TB platoons) I find the difficulty scales and the time to defeat the maps scale but I think ArctLight as added so much more variables to each map I'm excited to play it

Chisgule, what you explaining is just for PVE, PVP is 100% f2p, as every card is lvl 1

I don't think anyone knows yet. I'd guess that although the developers could release and this would be a pretty legit game, they probably will take another 6-12 months working on it before launching. Open BETA will likely mark the 3-6month mark before a launch IMO, and it's still in closed BETA.

If there is a P2W mechanic, I would definitely not play this game... That's a shame because I love the graphics and the idea of the game.

i use this pay to win dynamics for investments... at lest you get somethign at the end of the day... be it 5 or 15 % (or -5 or -15 :D... still 85% back is better than money exchanged for monopoly money)

we saw the difference between immortal closed beta and live release, so the beta should be taken with a grain of salt, expect it to get much worse.

Well the game is more about strategy than power based at the end of it all. Especially when People are starting to get their whole deck maxed and they only play against maxed players because then its all about who is the better player.
