WarCraft III Reforged Tutorial #2 - Part 1: Human Pala Rifle vs Undead (ThorzaiN's build)

Build order notes:
4 peasants to gold, 1 to wood
first peasant to come out goes to wood
when 7th peasant is about to come out start altar
with 7th peasant start a farm for 100hps then make blacksmith
8th peasant starts barracks
9th peasant continues the farm
as soon as you have 20wood sent the wood peasant to gold to have 5 there
10th peasant comes out make 2nd farm
keep on making peasants to go to wood
start pala + 1st rifle (you should be 21/24) 8 wood peasants
start 2nd rifle, make 3rd farm at 24/24
start creeping with 2 peasants to be able to tech fast
start tech 24/30 and go scout with 1 militia across map
then start another rifle and creep another camp with 2 militia
another rifle will put you at 30/30 make 1 more farm and 1 scout tower
start +1 attack at 32/36 then make one more farm
tier2 finishes immediately start bloodmage + rifle range
start another farm and +1 armor for rifles and make some more peasants
as soon as bloodmage is out, creep expo with him only, and power him to lvl 3
make arcane tower at expo
keep making rifles with your 7 wood peasants in main, make shop at expo
keep making rifles ignoring upkeep and get +2 attack
60/60 start castle then get +2 armor and a lumber mill - add 2 peasants on wood at expo
make lumber upgrade and when castle finishes get MK and get aviary
get staff of sanctuary and buy orb on MK when he's out
start gryph production and get +3 armor
try to reach 80 supply with 4 gryphons, get +2 attack for them, and then +3 for rifles
after that if you have a bunch of gold make 1 more rifle+1 more gryph

the best thing in his gameplay is that he chose where to fight . when rifles got high ground or the perfect position start fighting. tanking with one hero to move and reposition the whole army while paladin is about to heal the hero whose tanking. thorzain very good player!

One thing is wrong. Banish DOES NOT increase siphon effect. You can see that at 20:05 - 30 mana drained per second. Banish is used to slow down enemy hero and allow longer mana draining.

An small remark about the altar timing. You do not always start the altar a little before 7th peasant. Sometimes you have to do it a little later. The important thing is to have 180 wood (160 if u started ur first farm). This happens a little after or a little before 7th peasant depending on how fast you put your peasants on wood and how fast you started building peons. I think if you do thinks very fast you will do it a little before 7th peasent, but this is not always the case. Specially for slow players like myself :) For example, in one of the games of thorzan on ESL against vortix, he started altar a little after 7th peasent (in map, in other map it was a little later).

*170 wood, not 180. The peasant who is returning 170th wood can already build an altar, you don't need to wait for another peasant because he will go back to lumber and continue work anyway.

I prefer Grubby's tutorial on starting: 1) 4 to gold, 1 to wood 2) 2 more to wood 3) 1 more to gold (at this point you should be 9/12 with 9th peasant in progress) 4) at 210 wood build blacksmith, altar and barracks 5) you are left with 40 wood and 9th and 10th peasants build 2 farms Pros: - you have a bit more gold because you got 5 workers on gold mine much earlier, you can use it for earlier upgrade/tier2 - easier to handle (you just don't think at all for first 40 seconds...), just build everything at once Cons: - you have your buildings a bit later (altar 20s later, barracks 5s later) which IMO doesn't really matter because you end up at finishing 2nd rifle at the same time that pala goes out which I found good for creeping :)

I love going pali rifle priest vs ud. I have not lost a game doing this even when they go abombs because i get inner fire. The destroyers are not a problem because of mass rifles and devotion aura. Its weird being hu and being in the drivers seat the entire game. I always feel super confident with this build and everything just works well together. I usually go pali, bm, then archmage for aura and blizzard.

I do this opening and rush 7riffles with 3priests in my T2 50 food army and go Archmage 2nd max briliance. Only did this for 2v2 auras and dispel/innerfire but now I just love it. Partner does TC 1st SH 2nd headhunters, has all the lockdown and we just play 2 heroes each. TC/Paly aura insane for our mass piercing 50food and AM aura insane for innerfire/bloodlust spam and double healer heroes. Transition more often than not into gryph/tauren.

Rifles counter banshees so the UD can't make much of them anyways But I guess breakers can be good in this situation

when i play pala rifle i send 1 peasant to wood and 4 to gold to gold then i keep doing training peasants to wood and 1 to gold until i reach to 180 wood after that i do all the building at the same time what i need to know is which way is more efficient or better?

think blacksmith takes slightly longer to build so it makes sense to start it a few seconds earlier, thorzain's build should be more optimized and efficient. You start with 150 lumber and altar takes 50 lumber, barracks + blacksmith takes 60 lumber each, farm costs 20 lumber so you only need 2 lumber peasants initially to get an additional 40 lumber
