Was great in the content delivered and the overlay for cams is nice, but the content on the side felt squished and awkward to look at, may not be important in a podcast but that's really the only thing that wasn't great for me. Keep up the good content!

After seeing how this went, we're considering having a full screen layout with just camera frames and then switch to a different split scene where the cams are stacked vertically on the left to save room, which will give us more real-estate on the right side. Open to other suggestions though! These are the types of things we'll be adjusting over time and hopefully landing on something we can carry forward

Yes Jedith! More cosmetic rewards in M+! A transmog variation like pvp gladiator. At 3400 rating you get a variation of the tier set mog. And also more mage tower. Where it is actually hard and you get cool transmogs for classes

23:02 I really want Blizzard to tackle with the healer abuse issue. Every time a part of the group doesn't interrupt, or press a defensive the healer is there to correct that mistake (or some times we can't at all because stuff get to one shot people) but if too many times either successfully by a single or even worse by multiple DPS is done, the healer doesn't have the tools to overcome that as the game's designed around atomic/personal responsibility more, which, in an ideal world/conditions, would work perfectly fine (assuming tuning was precise enough) but here's we are in world that it doesn't because people are not doing what they are supposed to so the one who gets punished is guaranteed to be the healer, so we healers get overpunished until we had enough and we either switch class, play less or stop playing the game (that's me). The only way i can think of to circumvent this issue without changing the entire design of how things work (mostly) is by giving very important incentives to people to use these CDs, like small and short boost to DPS so people inherently find reasons to use them. Blizzard if you are hearing this, you know this is a problem and i have provided with a solution, consider it.

This is a wildcard: I would love to see a discussion about what your perfect spec would look like. Sure, it is not "productive" because you'd be talking about something that does not exist, but I would love to watch the pros building a spec from scratch as far as theme, role and specifics are concerned. There's no one doing something like that. Otherwise, great show! Keep it up!

In regards to the discussion about Race to World First on mythic raiding. What are your guy's thoughts on a "contest mode"? I remember seeing this for Destiny 2 events when raids come out. It's balance towards the best of the best with unique rewards. Awesome first podcast guys. I enjoyed it.

1:25:00 or so, about M+ rewards and mount based on Rating. Didn't Ion say this during the last BlizzCon? They shows an almost Darkmoon Zepelin where you earn costomizations based on rating, maybe rating in different dungeons, etc. EDIT: nvm I went back to the "Deep Dive" panel (available on the World of Warcraft YouTUbe channel) and at 14:30 he does mention a customizable mount but it seems to be for Delves. He does mention a mount for M+ers though so maybe he said something earlier that I missed.

@1:20:00 i had that experiece of delayed happynes when raiding. I just don't have the time anymore nowadays for it so LFR is perfect. If you do have all the time you have to invest in it available be my guest :D

Around 1:28:00 preheat is talking about the quickest runs at 20 vs highest possible keys, and one of the points he mentions is that you don't need specific classes. Well, as a target-capped spec I can tell you that it won't be very attractive to take me over someone who can blast uncapped.

Yeah MDI is literally that - speed running. And the comps are always the same and very meta gamed

Tanks doing the same damage as dps is a pretty silly idea. Meta group for M+ would be 5x VDH and nothing else, no healers and no dps. Threat is an issue and we don't want to go back to "wait for 3 sunders" but tank aggro multipliers need to be retuned.

Completely agree with this- coming from a tank player. Experiencing mop remix really made me remember how much of a pain in the ass aggro is. It would be a complete free for all if tanks had to build threat/ if they did the same damage as dps.

As a healer i do just that ignore most dps mistakes unless they die then ill explain to them

No you try to fix them as much as possible. You are trying to clear the raid/time the key not make a point the dps failed.

Personally, I think dps should only have 1 defensive, and they should all do roughly the same thing. Then, they could design and balance healing better.

I play a rogue and dh and I'm worried about season 4. It took me 63 runs to get to nick of time daggers on my rogue which are bis even over 489 daggers elsewhere. Now I'm thinking they are gonna be bis still but now I only get one chance a week at them with dawn being a mythic 0 in season 4. Same with double time.

What about aug instead of like supporting by buffing allies they support by debuffing enemies. Idk if that would be too strong since they would be the only class that special in it. Now that im thinking about it, that would probably be 100% pick or ignore

@AutomaticJak doesnt giving more buffs to healing in 5ms across all the healing specs doesnt that further incentivise 1 shot mechanics in dungeons and M+ cause if every healer has better raw throughput regardless of mana imanagement if healing can hard top people up the only pressure or risk for encounter design moves more towards 1 shot mechanics no?

Honestly I said back when Aug was announced that this felt like a Shadowlands Blizzard move - basically pointing to the rafters and saying "don't worry we'll balance it" when that was clearly impossible. And here we are. I think it's a fundamentally flawed idea and that they should indeed make it just another DPS spec. Or make it a tank, hell, I don't care. Just delete support as a concept. This isn't the game for it. (Also I think it's very strange that Devastation is supposed to be Red/Blue dragons, and Black got Aug. Black Dragons are all about devastating stuff, they can't get enough of it. Seriously, it's been a problem.)

I understand that in the year of our forefathers, threat was measured with a bar using incremental units. In the year of our lord 2024, threat is the same but tanks now have a 900% multiplier on it. I will never understand why threat is not just binary. ie: Are you in tank role? Threat is now an aura and as long as you are alive and engage first, you have it. Dev evoker does 9.8 mil on pull? Tank still has threat. EZ Clap

"Gladiator warrior" was not a spec, it was a talent that gave you a stance, and changed shield block into a buff that increased heroic strike damage. Trying to sneak that into the Aug conversation is specious at best.

The Glad Warrior Spec is a shortcut for saying you're a Prot Warrior playing as a DPS with the Gladiator Talent Build. It's like saying Feral DPS or Guardian Tanking wasn't a spec back when they shared a talent tree. You're technically right, but making a moot point?

What are you talking about? LFR is so easy. Most people can ignore almost all the mechanics and just press the buttons on their UI that light up and the boss will still die. No one is playing LFR for a challenge. It's not the 1% who think it's there for people to see the story.

Blizzard hasn't fully caught up understanding that people don't wanna grind as much anymore, and that they have found out how much more their time is actually worth it which is why they haven't made the changes needed to the game, they made a lot, but not enough, if they want more subs, there needs to be more good content and likely to have more well done repeatability and less less grind. Grind is only there to keep you sub'ed but if you don't want to grind you don't want to sub, get it now Blizz???

The FPS issues come down to your CPU. More cores isnt good for wow, need less more powerful cores. I have a 3900x, a 3070 and im dropping to 16 FPS in raids, but can run games like Cyberpunk in 1440 with no issues.
