WARDEN PVP BUILD - ESO!

I just wanted to thank you for this build. I have always loved being support, but had trouble being very squishy. I have just completed my first test in BG. Results: No one in my team died even once (including myself), and the enemy team quickly realized I was the problem and they started focusing just me... But the sustain and health allowed me to tank them all, my team could just wipe them out. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am trying to make your one bar Warden PvP damage over time (the Arc 8 build with Ice Furnace + Serpant's disdain), but I am having some trouble with sustain. Sticking to the Healer build as it is just brilliant. Thanks again and I look forward to more of your content.

Oh sweet, new Dooma Warden build! I have been really casual since the expansion dropped, so it seems that it's time to test this build out. Just need to get that freakin' Maelstrom staff! I swear since I got the perfected ice staff from Dragonstar on my first time through on vet, I never get lucky with Maelstrom or Vateshran goodies for warden! Build looks really strong man, can't wait to play around with this once I get that resto staff!

Hi Czechs! Haha I know exactly that feeling with the staff. I hope you get it soon. You can use a Potentates that you can buy off traders temporarily to still get to play the build while you work on farming the Maelstrom staff. When you get it set up, I hope you enjoy it! 🙏

I used this build with trample and disease and assassins' misery scripts and it adds four more status effects including hemmoraging which you can stack reliably three times, bonus points if you equip a toy horse mount

Hi there Mayorez! I hope you are doing well. 🙏 I just checked the site with the video and they match. You may have clicked a different build. Under the "PVP" section make sure you click "TWO BAR DPS." I havent gotten to play test this just yet with this new patch, but just eyeballing it, one thing I may change is swapping the morph of Arctic Blast to Polar Wind since the heal to Blast was nerfed. But that would also put a ton of emphasis on constantly making sure Winter's Revenge is down in fights as it would be one of the only frost generators to proc the Ice Furnace set. I plan to play test it soon'ish and I will update any changes on the written guide.

Hey Dooma, great content as usual. Which skill would you swap with Ulfsid's Contingency in your PvE/PvP hybrid Templar build, both for PvE and PvP?

Hey there! the most comparable skill you will get to Contingency, in the way I have it set up, is green Vigor. It does change the output of the build however quite a lot for team support.

Hi there! oh that's an interesting one haha. I don't think vamp is worth it on this build specifically. Regarding dropping an ability, I would say everything on the front bar is 'mandatory' for the builds intent except Deceptive Predator, but that would certainly hurt to lose both from a mobility and from a damage mitigation aspect. On the back bar, you can drop Radiating Regen, which also means you are free of the Resto Staff as that is the only resto staff ability, opening the back bar up for lot's of options between different weapons and abilities and what not. But that also disrupts the flow of play a bit. I think you would have to play with it with those options and see which felt more fluid for you without sacrificing too much from the build.

I mean, this should be an obvious thing to me, but I cant quite seem to figure it out on my own, lol, but does it matter if the Ice Furnace is an armor piece instead of the staff and using a Disdain ice staff in its place? I just wonder if there is a specific reason you have the IF as the staff, if it makes a difference to the procs or something?

Hi Joer! Since IF is a heavy set and SD is a crafted set which can be crafted in heavy, it doesn't matter what piece goes where in that regard. The difference in backbar stats is going to be a very minimal difference either way. However, if you wanted to min/max this just a tiny bit more, technically using a SD staff will be just a little bit better output, as you will still get a little bit of IF fire damage in the moments you on your back bar. The trade off for using IF as the staff, is to min max the build for stats a little bit easier (mainly hitting resist cap) and having 2 more pieces you can craft, vs. needing to farm gear for traits or spend transmute crystals to retrait gear. Either way you chop it up will work totally fine. Great question!

@@FlashyJoer I do want to add real quick: Farming for dungeon final boss weapons can not be the most fun at times if RNG is not going well, so regarding “ease of farming gear” it could also be quicker/easier to put the build together using a SD staff vs trying to farm the IF Frost Staff if someone doesn’t have it already.

Hi there! I played around with this a bit on stream (sort of) and this is what I can tell you: I did not like (at all) trying to replace contingency with something to try to make up the group healing aspect there like swapping Arctic Blast for Polar Wind. The build felt much better leaning into damage and using something like vigor there. You get your minor resolve buff and a solid heal on your off resource. This does change the flow of the build quite a lot and I would not recommend you follow the 50/50 play style I explained in the video between team heals support and damage. I would go full damage, but being mindful to keep Radiating Regen out and using Forest to team heal when needed. It flips things to something more like 90/10 focus where you are more focused on being a damage dealer for the team. Contingency can bring a lot to the table regarding team healing. I show in another video, on a 1 bar bow build, with only 1 healing ability on my bar (Healing Contingency) it put out just under half a million team healing, just dodge rolling through team fights mainly. So without it, the build can easily be shifted to more damage focused.
