Wardens - Episode 10: Operation Big Horn | Outdoor Documentary
Watch 'Wardens - Episode 11' here:
In this episode:
Have you ever wondered where confiscated trophy animals end up? Today we'll show you. Follow game wardens as they monitor hunting activity on big horn sheep. Flathead Lake is overflowing with holiday cheer during the 4th of July. Let's keep it safe.
When your job is protecting our most precious natural resources in some of the nation’s most remote areas, there is rarely a dull moment. Wardens chronicles the lives of Conservation Officers in America. The show features the men and women who protect public lands, from ride-alongs on interstate game checks, to anti-poaching sting operations; from remote snowmobile trails in grizzly bear country, to unforgiving white-water rapids. While the focus of Wardens is enforcement of regulations, the show takes special precautions to ensure the general public understand those who would violate the rules are the minority and the vast majority of encounters with our Wardens are law-abiding citizens.

They do this so illegally taken animals do not go to waste, an auction is a smart way to increase revenue for illegally confiscated animals, most city police departments do this with drug dealer vehicles. Do not hate nor discriminate, this is legally funded revenue from poached and illegally taken animals. Proper conservation is required to have a responsible hunter base. Ridiculous the non penalties. If you can’t be bothered to learn the laws - or more often the not, know them and break ‘em - confiscate the gear, the truck, the trailer, fine them, and make them ineligible to ever hunt again.

How many episodes now have we seen Brian goalie driving around in a vehicle with a cracked windshield? When is someone going to pull him over and write him a ticket for each violation? The proof is on every video. We have investigated ourselves and found ourselves innocent.

Clearly you don't know anything about Montana laws. You would look very silly trying to write that ticket when you went to add the statue.

Wow, even these wardens lie in the making of a tv show including saying Do u understand these rights as I have read them to u , when he clearly did not read them, he recited them, which they cannot do. They must read them so they don’t make a mistake. If challenged, this video would prove the warden did not follow the law.

Exactly what I was thinking: I'd buy cheap for something like an antler handle on a knife, or horn carving, but hanging it as is strikes me as about as tacky as calling up the local trophy shop and ordering yourself a first place cup for the Boston Marathon.

Every legally taken ram gets one so if anyone comes across one with out it they they will know it was poached or acquired illegally. They have since changed the rules on picking up dead sheep heads, but you still have to have it plugged.

People get retarded in Montana, especially tourists. The mountains, and especially Yellowstone is basically a managed chaos. You see this show, but alot of the time I hear sirens, it's not crime, it means someone is in trouble, and probably because of their own stupidity. So I'm all for deterring stupidity.
