Just bought a Buck 662 Alpha Scout Elite in Magnacut/G10 with the Kydex sheath. I really like the leather sheaths Buck made for the Pro versions, wish those were carried over to the Elites. Is there anywhere you know of where I can purchase a Pro leather sheath for my Scout Elite?

Hi, thank you for the question. I did get on Bucks website and they do sell a bunch of sheaths but I did not see any for the Alpha Pro Series. If you contact Buck they may be able to sell you a leather sheath that is for your knife. Other options would be to look on Ebay to see if there are any for sale, contact a custom leather/ sheath worker to make you one or buy some leather and make one yourself. In time I believe Buck will have them in the sheath section on the website, but the knife is newer and they may not have had many requests yet. Good luck to you.

Sorry, but S35VN is not considered a super steel. While you are not going to find any better steel for hunting knives, there are many steels that are considered better, but they would be much harder to sharpen. This would not make these, so called, super steels the best choice for hunting knives.
