Other cases, it spoils the entire update From recent Warframe leaks I've seen, it's just enough to tease how cool it is going to be The in-game demo especially will be 20x more crazy feeling when actually playing it; seeing it is already wild, but actually playing it will be a whole other level

If the leaks are just minor additions to what we already know is coming, then it doesn't ruin the next update at all for me. On the other hand, if the leaks are as significant as spoiling the plot of The Second Dream before release... yeah I wouldn't blame anyone for getting really mad about that.

A lot of online games do this especially mobile games but usually datamine efforts are for popular games with a sizable community. Like I know Call of duty got collabs leak pretty frequently because it has a community that want to know what is coming out. Mobile games especially rpg-like games get leaks constantly to the point it's basically free advertising for the game because it keeps game discussion going long before and after the update comes out.

leaks are good because they help get people excited about games, but it's obvious that not all leaks are 100% reliable, so if someone doesn't like leaks about games, don't look at them. frankly I don't see any reason for anyone to get ''upset'' about it. If there are any translation errors let me know, I'm learning English :)

There's two issues with this line of thinking. First, it's commonly known that people generally hate spoilers. Regardless of whether or not people like leaks or spoilers, it has an effect on actually consuming the product. Many people don't like the effect it has on their engagement with the media in question. Second, this completely negates the feelings and intentions of the creators. If you're throwing a birthday party for a friend, and you want it to be a surprise, wouldn't you be upset if someone you didn't know looked into your planner, went and found the person the party was for, and just straight up told them everything that was going to be at the party? As humans, we understand the value of surprises not just to the person being surprised, but for the people doing the surprising. It's unfair to unilaterally decide how people's plans should unfold when you weren't even part of the process. You just stole all the information. Also, an additional note, it sets a bad precedent. If you allow one form of unauthorized tampering, you undermine your credibility when it comes to enforcing the rules elsewhere.

I like most of the leaks I usually see from Warframe which are "Here's what the next prime weapons will be" "Here's an upcoming prime mod" "Here's the new incarnations and what they do". Knowing about new toys I don't see as negative as leaking, for example, the story of a movie.

Datamined leaks are the devs fault. If you leave files for something unreleased that's related to your current or future game, that's dumb. All developers know dang well that a bunch of people have the skills and free time to extract the files from your game and look through them.

In a Deadpool case they at first didnt want to make it happen so yeah its a positive part of leaks and also it was just a (fck im bit drung so forgive me for any misspels etc.) "fight scene?" to make funds for movie. Also I didnt say its liek pure evil as you prove it has a good side but at the end its still just "dissrespectful" Ive seem many leaks from Riot, Ubi and other companies but... its just doesnt sit with me well to do things liek that to one of the better dev team in industry
