It should tell you a lot about Warframe that when 1999 launched, the Motorcycle you can summon in the new area was bugged. Instead of being area-locked, you could summon it anywhere in the game. DE saw this, and decided to just let it stay. Because they thought it was more fun to be able to ride a motorcycle around whenever you wanted.

I didn't know warframe had goblins in it. Definitely didn't expect the Goblin King to be here. Also 1999 was such a breath of fresh air. I love the new city environment, especially with the changing seasons. For those who haven't tried it, warframe really is one of, if not the best free to play game out there, as long as you have patience and don't mind a bit of grinding.

Hi, MR34 player, been playing since closed beta here: Thor is wrong about some things at the end with Saryn. 1) That is not endgame. Enemies are around level 65, which is still no where near to endgame. He's playing in Elite Sanctuary Onslaught (ESO) by the looks of things, which is still at regular star chart levels, but does level up quickly. Steel Path adds 100 levels and then doubles enemy health and armour. 2) Saryn's abilities don't work like that. Your initial target is infected with spores. Popping those spores or killing that enemy spreads the spores to nearby targets, however after that point when a target dies, if they died from the spore damage then the spores stop spreading. They did work like that during the rework but it was so broken that you could solo some very high level stuff, without effort so it got nerfed. EDIT: If you pop the spores on secondary targets it will spread further but Thor is actually being passive which is considered leeching despite doing damage because everyone else is spreading his spores for him. You also can't do that if you're in a party with another Saryn as the spores kind interact weird.

Also ESO is basically a leveling cave. It was put into the game because players wanted to speed level things, and DE was like "okay". It did kill off a bunch of famous leveling spots but did mean that you didn't need xp boosts to level quickly. You still kind of have to do with Archwing which is space combat with basically wings. Super fun, really under supported imo. To stay on topic however, you could go into ESO with a fairly meh party and still hyper level so he may have over sold that part of the game. Sorry dude, you're just not 100% right there.

​@@twoheadedgiantgaming7029 It's not even close to that either. There's much more powerful builds. Equinox has an unlimited cap of damage, Kullervo can do much more damage in quicker fashion. Saryn's damage is stacking but has a cap. You can also do basically a stack underflow with damage using a combination of weapon mods, arcanes, and abilities other than Spores. EDIT: This is all again ignoring the fact that Saryn isn't even the last warframe you can get in terms of earliest possible acquisition. Styanax is only available after the New War questline, 1999 has Cyte-09 which you can't get till you've done Whisper in the Walls and 1999...I'm not attacking him. I'm pointing out his statement is wrong. Objectively.

EDIT: I'd go further and point out that in real terms there is no actual endgame in terms of Warframe because it quite famously has no endgame. However most people would consider high level content endgame which ESO definitely is not. It's a mischaracterisation of Warframe and could give new players a false impression of the game. This isn't dealing with Eildon hunts or any kind of Arcane farming. Lotus help you on that one. EDIT the second: I wouldn't even say it's endgame for leveling if that was the angle. There's better places where you can level stuff hyper quick and also get rare resources which you can't do in ESO.

Just a quick note for anyone who will be grinding exp. kills with a warfames abilities (i.e. spores) only give exp to the warframe not your weapons. In this instance thor's weapon was leveling do to exp share from the other people in his group getting kill. Funny enough having others sharing exp is the fastest way to level weapons as all kills from your weapons have their exp split between the weapon and warframe.

This is a 10min compilation of 4hours of Warframe gameplay done on stream on the 7th of January. By looking at it, Thor is bullet jumping quite a lot. If you don't see that in this compilation, that's because he is looking at the new environnement of 1999 and prefers to slow down his gameplay to look at the different elements presented to him. There is a section, in the middle of the quest, where he is looking at the fake ads on TVs instead of rushing the mission, that's not because he is slowing down that he sucks at the game. On the opposite, he is enjoying the game and all the little details the devs added to the game. Thor is not Elon.

You don't level weapons with a kill frame, because if a Warframe kills an enemy it consumes all affinity gained from it. You level your weapons by being around when someone else has a kill frame doing the work, who's likely using that facet to grind Focus.

100% true, if you want to level a specific weapon bring ONLY that weapon, and a warframe that can help you get kills with it. In my case I take a high range Vauban to pull enemies to a spot and go ham with the weapon in question.

You can level weapons with a gun platform frame though. Subsuming eclipse onto a frame that gives firerate can power level weapons, and afaik the weapon gets the XP.
