The Daikyu might has well been my starting weapon, and was my old reliable for the longest time. I had to do a double take the moment i saw the words "AoE" and "Daikyu" int he same sentence. Definitely going to give these a go to try and revitalize my old beloved.

I've had one for the longest time with +100.3% toxin, +77.2% fire rate, and +112.7% multishot, with the penalty of -108.4% slash. Slotting it in place of malignant for gives me a ~76% status chance since i dont have the bonus. Could it slot in replacing the toxin mod, or something else, or should I just leave it out.

@@refiloemolaane Thermal sunder only armor strips if the battery is above 80%. Seeing as only gauss even has a battery, let alone one that can exceed this mark, the subsumed version cannot armor strip.

KnightmareFrame made a video on Saryn with Nourish and Kuva Ogris Gas (Toxicity), pretty cool and it works fine. He mods the Ogris with only Heat, and it combines with the Toxin from Nourish to create Gas. Nightwatch Napalm scales only with Heat mod, and Toxic Lash will scale with Toxin from Nourish. Nightwatch Napalm also proc Toxic Lash toxin DoT for each tick, stacking Heat and Toxin. Really cool stuff. But modding for Gas and using Roar will do a better job and scale Toxic Lash as well as Nightwatch Napalm. I would only use Nourish instead of Roar if you're short on mods and can't slot in Toxin.

Players often have an aversion to bows because you can't just aim at the floor and wipe crowds, this is wonderful. I would be hyped to see a video highlighting Cernos Prime. Chomping through crowds with Split Flights + my MS, CC, fire rate riven made it one of my favorite weapons.

lavos passive grants extra status duration based on the duration in his build. getting gas with certain gun mods/warframe dura mods/rivens to increase the duration up above 20s for a gas cloud instead of the base 6s makes for really nice crowd control

I use Daikyu in congruence with my skiajati. They Daikyu has a built in life steal if you are using a katana melee weapon. I have always taken advantage of this on my Baruuk.

It's also fun using the Evade 1 on Baruuk when your bow is drawn as it only counts the "draw back" as "fighting back" otherwise you dodge all bullets while taking your time to line up your shots.

Daikyu was the first Asymmetrical bow in warframe, and i have always loved it for that. In fact it's my go to weapon for Archon Hunts, when modded right it won't one or even two shot the Archon. But it does SIGNIFICANT damage each strike, and easily does the job with Ivara, a secondary with a cone shaped attack and punch through and a stealth mod for those pesky redbull salesmen he calls in and it's easy. Love this bow, always will. Even if it's outclassed.

I haven't tested without, but you linearly lose 2.4x damage. You could slot another mod there, such as, say, Hammershot, or something else? Hammershot itself is a 1.27x damage increase with 36% extra gas procs. So at the very least, running a different mod instead of the bane should make you lose somewhere around 33-40% of your total damage or something.

I got a riven with roughly 170% damage, 120% status duration, and 140% crit chance with a reload speed negative. Feels very good with this build! Brings my crit chance to 92% without a separate crit mod which is great.

as far as i can tell it doesnt increase the headcrit multiplier. in this video headcrits deal 7x the body crit. which tracks with the 3.5x raw headshot and the standard 2x headcrit multiplier to critical damage

I prefer a Proboscis Cernos. Mutalist Cernos is good. But Khora with a Proboscis is how I do my hours long steel path khora runs. I just finally got a kuva bramma too. Really curious, how about putting either Xata’s whisper from xaku on a grouping frame or a grouping ability on xaku? The daikyu has high status so void procs can actually make headshots happen a lot more right? Edit: that and you get extra dipping void damage from procs similar to toxic lash

The arrows would also get stuck in the bubble instead of piercing the crowd. The dip is mainly for DoTs, while void will triple dip, it’s just raw damage and pales in comparison to DoT potential. Also you lose the grouping of ensnare for Gas

I'm not that modding experienced, but as the build is going for headshots anyway wouldn't Primary Deadhead and Galvanized Scope make sense for this build? And does the headshot multiplier increase from a max rank Deadhead affect the gas proc damage in the same way as the one from Amalgam Daikyu Target Acquired?

It does affect the gas procs the same way with Deadhead. I just didn't slot them, because I wanted the interaction and setup of this particular bow to be as basic as possible to show it's potential. Deadhead and Scope would definitely push it's damage even higher. You could also start slapping buffs on, etc. As this was essentially the most raw showcase possible with minimal buffs or interactions beyond just taking gas, grouping CC and the Target Acquired mod.

Daikyu definitely flies further than the other bows. How much, I can't say. But it's basically the bow that was supposed to "hit harder, fly faster, fly further, but notch slower".

Dread lacks the headshot mod, as well as lack of forced impact for Internal Bleeding's better slash conversion. Would be a lot worse. Also status is an issue for proccing Gas reliably.

Yes but it's quite a fair bit slower than Daikyu or Proboscis. Takes about 5s+ to kill CHGs when fully stacked. Kills fodder quite quickly for base SP, but it also eats a ton of FPS, even more than Proboscis Cernos or Daikyu.

@@hiilikepie2409 you’d throw cold on to make viral clouds that also cause toxin dots. It’s just the damage is really low that it takes a lot of ramping to make it work. You can try heat too to make gas, but the results are mixed. I’ve also tried electric and it works better at the start for sure, but struggles against the last enemies. Honestly, I’ve still yet to find a mutalist Cernos build I’m really happy with.

The Condition Overload mods still don't work on a lot of things, AoE weapons like rocket launchers are a prime example of this, sadly. No word on whether DE is working on fixing this. As a Kuva Ogris mainer it saddens me as the weapon is great atm, but being able to use use CO with its ability to create 7 different status effects by itself would make it absolutely bonkers v.v

Yea bows are another victim of the bug. DE is aware, we don't know if they're fixing it, as they already attempted once and failed.

Sadly im taking a break from WF until the next update Already have everything maxed out So im bored to death with no raids no events Im giving a chance to destiny 2 now One thing i automatically loved is the fact you are neither weak or godly If you mess up your fked😅 And wished WF implemented something Like the gambit and nightfalls to warframe Those mini raids ish are fun and pve/pvp are freaking amazing and fun to do compared to the weak sortie we still have and conclave😢

@@Aznvasions no joke, i would actually try this with nidus and then use Deadhead + Virulant Augment for Higher Tier Red Crit and use Tanky Nekros Method (using Health orb = armor mod) for decent survival with the help of Protea Subsume + Equili for better QoL Huge Fan of the Daikyu since it came out because of the Meme (especially before the rework with Point Strike crit only have 50% chance which makes it a Russian Crit Roulette) thank you

I think you named it on purpose wrong, since Daikyu is not a AOE weapon. Sure, if you use ensnare to group up enemies and the enemy behind this target is killed as well. But thats not aoe in my opinion. The only reason to use Daikyu is the Nikana + Amalgam mod combo. Now split flight is not stronger compare to galvanized mods

If you watched, you’d notice everything in a 6m aoe is dying, not just enemies behind it. Split flights is 400% MS. Galvanized MS is 230%.
