Yes bro I still remember when the movement update came out. It was weird to adjust too but way better than original movement. I miss farming the void for primes. So glad I farmed and kept the glaive prime now that it’s so good and worth 400p. Hit 1 billion dmg with it the other day lol.

And just to put it in perspective, there are daily challenges in the game that randomize daily/weekly, and one of the challenges asks you to ‘Bullet jump’ 1000 times. That challenge usually is completed within an hour, passively. thats how fun the movement system in this game is when you master it.

U can actually complete it in just a couple mins. Just find a sticky corner that defaults ur warframe to a crouched position, hold W (or left analog stick up) and spam jump. You can do bullet jumps in under a second. With out actually moving or going air born.

It was different and honestly had some fun things. Like if something was hidden or required parkour to get to, you may have needed to actually look at it and wonder how to get there. Those treasure runs like the ones you do for Maroo used to be a lot harder and require a little more skill to actually do. Not a lot of skill mind you, but it was more challenging than just bullet jumping across the gap and getting to the end. Don't get me wrong I love the new system I just wish more out of the way areas needed better use of the system.

Honestly suprised how warframe isnt bigger than it is now. It has game devs that actually care for the game. With many updates not being just one new item for the rest of the year, but sometimes, whole new reworks, characters, weapons, visuals, etc... all in one update.

It's bigger then you might think. Hovers around 50K to 100K players on all platforms consistently. New major updates still generate a lot of hype, and after cross-save and cross-play the game is more popular then ever. It's still not mainstream popular, but has an extremely dedicated playerbase and the game still prints money for the devs.

After making it, I didn't have a slot to equip it. one time I just said, I don't have a slot to equpip my neza prime. someone asked for my id and gifted a slot saying "Enjoy your Nezha prime". Clan memebers too. they are really friendly. They helped with my missions/grinds just by asking for help. the community ever. and I too aspire to be like them.

& it was that first bullet jump that had me say “Okay I’ll give this a try” & now 468 login days later, I’m legendary rank 4, over 10k free plat, spent 20k free plat, have over 20k in rivens, sets, & other stuff I can sell. So it’s save to say I enjoyed Warframe. With that being said, any new Tenno, just enjoy the game, don’t be like me & rush it. Enjoy the content, take your time. Learn to game. The most important thing to learn early is HOW TO MOD, make sure your early plat goes to weapon/warframe slots (trust it will come in clutch) & GET A SMEETA KAVAT ASAP! Good Luck Tenno. There are clips of the first prime time streams were we see devs using coptering as if it was part of the game design. It lasted for YEARS before parkour 2.0 was introduced and believe it or not, they tested out how much speed you were losing and they came out with the conclusion that CONTROL > SPEED. That means that having more options to control your movement helped you traverse terrain faster than just going super fast on a straight line. DE actually take this same concept when reworking operator slinging! Old operator dash was an almost instant blink towards a fixed distance and could be spammed. Nowadays operators can "sling", can control its distance and hover a few secs to change direction. Overall its as fast as old system but with better control over it (avoiding hitting walls and stairs constantly).

Thank you for explaining it correctly. Everytime sometime brings this up, they say they turned the bug into a feature which isn't the case. DE removed coptering, but replaced it with features that gave the player batter options for travel.

Ight then, 2015 when Volt Prime was added, boosting his speed ability to the fastest then combining it with Loki Prime's default speed would make you phase out of the map due to how fast you was moving. I witnessed this and exploited it a few times to speed through assassination missions, made it much easier to each the objective lol

In OG we didn't even have base wall running so a lot more was done than people realize. A big portion of Warframes gameplay is their parkour system and how smooth it really is.

They took a bug that highlighted a problem (Moving really slowly) and they made an entire system around it to make the game better. DE actively listens (most of the time) to their community. They suggested adding a method to skip quests with platinum (For new players to get to new content, and the community was immediately like "NOOOO!" because the story is so important to the game, among other reasons. DE really is one of the greatest dev teams.

The weapon was Dual Zorren and movement was called "Zorrencopter" You did not need to be in the air. You only needed to do a slide attack. There are warframes that can RUN faster than dual zorren now. I have been playing since 2014. If you want to play, do the second dream quest, It is insanely epic. The music alone brings tears to my eyes every time. I had been playing for quite some time before that quest came out, and it absolutely shattered me. It went from "YEAH SPACE NINJAS GO BRR - NO PLOT GUNS GO BOOM!" to "My feels. Oh god my feels. It hurts." The devs of this game are overwhelmingly awesome. There is no pay to win. There are no expensive DLCs. It is a true free to play. Everything besides cosmetics you can earn outside the store. Some expansion launches, like Railjack, definitely started off rough, but were thoroughly fixed. The ridiculous SIZE of this game is insane. I beat all the star chart missions (250ish) and found out that you can do it again in a "hard mode". Between dark souls and steel path, steel path is harder. The enemies start at level 100... but they are NOT normal level 100s. I can flatten level 100s. Steel path level 100s are OBSCENELY tough and insanely high damage. The game is a grind game. You do missions to get parts to build new weapons, warframes, pets, and even a spaceship. The amount of customization is beyond any other game I have played by MAGNITUDES. Want your war-dog to be neon blue - you can do that. Want a Rhino warframe that is pink and kinda hip-thrusts suggestively while standing there... you can. Ultimate looter shooter. I still don't have everything. I am Mastery rank 28. The mastery ranks require more XP the higher you get, and the only way to get that XP is to max-level gear. The number of ways you can build warframes is literally beyond your comprehension. Each warframe, Primary weapon, secondary weapon, melee weapon, railjack, and pet has 8 mod slots. (Later in the game you can earn a mech that you can summon and that monster has 12 mod slots, but almost everything has 8) There are probably close to 800 mods in the game right now The possibilities are ENDLESS!

DE is one of the finest devoloper studios ever. It insane how good theyre on all front. E.g they removed an lootbox mechanic early on since on player put a ton of money in it and they didnt want their game to become a slot maschine, so the removed the MONEY MAKING thing and it doesnt stop their. Did did so much incradble stuff over the years and you totaly know they their first priority is always the comunity/fans. Huge props to them, all the other dev companys should learn from them big time.

Before the bullet jump, there was a cannonball jump, with some what the same mechanics. If you performed the sequence of sliding and jumping at the tightest window, the cannonball jump could abnormally shoot you forward for nearly 200mts at high speeds.

It was a small step but doesn't make me forget how many times some dev like Scott or Steve didn't like players doing something they didn "envision" and yet never said what they envisioned, creating a vicious cycle in which players optimized their tasks only to wonder when would they be dropping the nerf hammer, or worse, ban them.

There were some other glitches which were much fun For example: The operater glitch by switching between frame and operator at a wall very fast to glitch through a wall didn't matter which one it was The necramech glitch by equipping a mod in your voidrig flak weapons Loadout who increase fire rate if landing a headshot: simply if this temp buff appears in siege mode turn into normal and then into siege asap. Like this you kept increasing your fire rate until the max fire rate ever existing Sadly they got all patched :/ But it was fun having fun with it X)

It wasn't just the zorren, you could've done it with any melee weapon, since it was an actual part of a movement back then. Zorren was just one of the most efficient ones in it. It wasnt a bug or an exploit, there was nothing to fix and movement 2.0 came just because the game grew and needed mechanics to follow.

I still do helicoptering but in a different way- I equip a gun blade or the obex, hit rush on my volt and go crazy. It’s even better in open world maps when I can hit rush>archwing>sprint forward> Blink>melee. Bro the speed I can reach one end of the map is insane. It’s what I imagine the flash sees at full speed.

I have another thing that they did. There is a mechanic in warframe called shield gating. It sounds weird, but it isn’t that complicated. When your shields hit zero, you get some invincibility. It also nullifies the damage and doesn’t carry over to your health. So if you are dealt 1000 damage with 100 shields, 900 damage is just gone. Now, I know this sounds weird, but players would try and get as little shields as possible because you get more invincibility from a full shield drain than when it is recharging. Players would use corrupted keys to reduce shields, but last year (I believe), an update came out introducing new corrupted mods. These mods were already in the game, increasing one stat a lot, but decreasing another. This new mod gave players a faster shield recharge rate and I believe a little more invincibility, but reduced shield amount. Perfect for shield gating. Edit: I found the mod. I never knew the bullet jump started as a bug. Good on DE for making it a part of the game instead of removing it, Warframe has honestly the most enjoyable movement system in an action shooter ever in my opinion so Im glas it is the way it is.

They did remove it but after seeing the demand they decided to do something about the movement so people would stop wanting an exploit to come back.

Thr main reason i love warframe is because of the fast paced nature. That was probly one of the best decision for the game

They have also made dozens of improvements to the overall health of the game. Daily standing was annoying and tedious so they made major improvements to it, when a frame is underpowered they either buff it, or release mods that make it way better *cough* yarelia and loyal merulina *cough* and they even removed a micro transaction because it was making to much money. You used to be able to randomly roll your colors on kuberows, but somebody spent like $400 on it

I started playing warframe on update 7, and i remember vividly sliding on the ground and using melee spin to go fast, i took a long ass break after that and ended up coming back after the bullet jump was implemented. While i miss the wall running it was so janky and inconsistent im glad that they made it just jumping on the wall. And the bullet jump has become such a staple of the game i cant imagine it without it.

DE did, in fact, try multiple times to kill that bug. It isn't an "instead of" scenario - they couldn't manage to squash it, and also eventually reworked their movement systems.

Theres more things like this from DE, one of my favourite is they stop loot boxes from warframe, so in warframe you can customize the colour of a lot of things and it includes kubrow (essentially a big pet dog ingame) and before they locked it behind a paywall and you will get a randomize kubrow color, but one guy literally spend so much money that the dev realize they just make gambling so they patch it out and now you can customize it freely with additional color you can get in game/events or buy it without waiting.

They had my respect when they accidentally created a slot machine with the cubros, you could re.Roll the fur pattern on your dog basically. One person in a week spent two hundred dollars on this. The Debs noticed this and thought it wasn't healthy for them.The game or the players and removed it. That's why d e has my respect. The context of this video is only icing on the cake.

Coptering was so damn fun. Also like every other update daggers can copter again then an update happens and they can't again. Every update is like a surprise if I'm gonna zoom around with my zaw or not.

I remember sliding into a roll and jumping to get a massive leap before the bullet jumping was added. There was a grineer map where extract was on the other side of a large gap and you had to zip line across, but I would just launch myself and people would start trying to copy it

We all know the Orthos Prime was the real movement meta back in the days. Essentially, that's where bullet jump came from. If you jumped and melee with Orthos while looking up, you would bullet jump. Then when they introduced the new movement system, I completely dropped the Orthos, it became useless lol.

You can do it with a zaw with exodia contagion by double/bullet jumping then wall latching for a split second then a melee attack

The devs earned my respect personally when they decided to keep in the glitch with that one skin in the chroma dynasty pack that makes the melee weapon GIGANTIC. People loved it so much and wanted them to keep it in so they never removed it lol

digital extremes has the best developers. not looking at the mini transactions like all games have, they honestly listen and trying to make the community happy. so hell yeah I pay stuff for this game cause they deserv it

this wasnt just a bug, nor was it just with the zoren, we used to do this with every melee, we could literally cover ROOMS with orthos prime, while I love DE and everyone on the team, I do miss Melee 1.0 but everything we have now is also really cool
