Here's something fun. The Void operates off of quantum mechanics in some way. It's like a big Schrodinger's Cat. Unless observed, all possibilities exist. When Albrecht entered the void unprotected, possibility collapsed into one, the void embodied the most powerful thing which drives the Orokin, their self-centeredness And congrats, Albrecht is now the father of an eldritch horror that takes the form of those around it.

this is also why Wally losing a finger in this encounter is such a thorn on its side. because the finger is " being observed" it effectively traps Wally in Linear time.

Also I always thought only one of The Man's fingers were severed by the Wall of Lohk, since most depictions of The Man are only missing one index finger, and it's made clear that the fingers we see in reliquary drives are copies, but apparently not.

For example: Albrecht cared do much about stopping The Indifference that he negatively affected everyone around them and treated everyone like experiments. He liked us because we are so busy doing the right things that we kill millions in the process.

There's a grave with Jade's feathers on it that tells her story and gives more insight on Stalker's as well. Small spoiler: Screw Ballas. My current biggest contention with the lore in the game is the lack of context of timescale. Like was all this Orikin business going on 50 years ago? 200 year? 10,000 years ago? It all seems to be relative to the past.

Honestly Entrati not looking like he did in his protrait annoys me a lot for a 2 reasons: 1)No one talks about it 2)He looked so much cooler. I love the orokin look that the Entrati family and default Balas had. Him and loid being just dudes with a bit of Gold highlights is boring

I can totally imagine the man in the wall saying something like this when he sees entrati in the void the first time "Who am I? One name you might have for me is The Void, or you might call me The unseen universe, or perhaps God, or perhaps the Truth. I am all and I am one, so of course this also means that 'I am you.'" Also i wont buy that he changed bodies because of his injuries from returning from the void. If the Orokin can bio engineer what is basically "Pseudo Divine space-time manipulating fungus" and are advanced enough in robotics to make ever evolving self replicating robots with sapient AI, they sure can heal his voice box, skin and eyes or grow New ones for him

We know that the blue look is due to some form of body-modding, which could be tied to Kuva. Albrecht forsake Kuva and Continuity and it's possible that, after regrowing new skin and being nursed by Loid, his body simply started "aging" normally and he looks more like a regular human than Orokin. Note how no Orokin have body hair (or hair at all in some cases) whereas Albrecht has grown a beard and grayed. That said - he is still very pale and kinda blueish, you can easily see it in the intro sequence to WITW when he touches Loid, the difference in skin tone is very obvious. /why/ he changed his look could be tied to fitting in 1999 - a blue guy walking around would look probably really weird. Also it seems the change was quite recent - the Zariman portraits are obviously drawn at the height of his popularity and Acrithis in the Duviri fragments describes his look like in the portrait (his hair being tied in coils); and Albrecht's trip to Duviri happens sometime after the Cavia experiments. This could also mean that the 1999 look is specifically to fit into 1999 and by that time Albrecht and Loid had basically locked themselves in the basement - nobody is going to talk about Albrecht's new look if he has gone missing and maybe nobody even /knows/ he has changed.

From what I can tell Loid might not have been in the lab one day. The Requiem word entries specifically say that his "sluggish attendants" were there, and I don't think he would have called Loid sluggish. But it also sounds like Loid might've already been in his employ so he might just not have been there that day (or its a retcon cause we know Loid healed his wounds)

Yes, the void was researched in order to create a means of faster then light travel to colonize the neighboring solar system "TAU-Ceti". And it did work, The Zariman 10-0 being the best example, although it was sabotaged and things went "Event horizon" real fast.

Great questions! Just to add on, the Zariman kind of seemed to be a rushed hail-mary that wasn't really as ready as it should be. Void tech was able to get them to Tau (kind of), since the Sentients were meant to build a Void Solar Rail on their way to the system (the Orokin just didn't really get to make full use out of it cause of big War)
