@@corgthemighty well like you said the Quills might have had some beef with Koumi because the whole future thing. what if the resaon we know nothing of what happened to Koumi is because the Quills took her when the tenno entered the big sleep. That would explain all the mysterious happenings. Maybe the alter returned because the Quills needed it to return.

A little note I might add for your future 1999 Lore 101 video. The Netracells before 1999 had schematics for the protoframes but after 1999 they're all missing. Don't exactly know the implications of it so I leave it to you, Loremaster!

She wasn't mentioned that long ago. The emails aren't actually emails, as in they're not static records of a message that was actually sent. They were edited so as to remain consistent for newer players and older players with the current updates. If she had been mentioned before, there'd be more talk about it when the update's name was announced.

Protea, xaku, koumei, and harrow I feel would be the biggest threat to the man in the wall. All can alter reality in their own way. oh and Nova. Also koumei resembles a Japanese shrine maiden.

Not just any shrine maiden, look at the bow on the orehime helmet, its reimu hakurei, the first shrine maiden from touhou. Her main battle theme is "Maiden's cappriccio, Dream battle," and her innate ability changes fast, so she always wins.

Koumei seems to be a hint that timeline shifts/jumbles are a thing we’ll have to deal with. “The Fragmented One” motif is in the 3rd act of her theme. ‘Came back into existence’ seems Mandela effect-like.

I believe Koumei might have been a warframe that was casted out from Orokin Empire because she foretold the misfortune (Tenno vs Orokin) and the creator of this warframe thought Koumei must have been bugged (Like every time DE introduces new update and packs a huge punch of new and old bugs). When she was thrown out, she landed in the ocean near Cetus and probably Unum saved her (Cause Unum also knew about the fate of the Orokin Empire) and together they took the role of helping those that wants to change their fate. After the incident of the Tenno being sent to the sleeping pods, I think Harrow aka Rell was protecting them from the inside by not letting The Whisper in the walls reach out to the Tenno and Koumei might have been the one protecting them from the outside forces that tried to threaten the Tenno when they were inside the Void in Lua. I know it's a bit vague but that is my theory of her disappearance and Unum might have been the trigger that teleported Koumei alongside her shrine to defend the sleeping Tenno. After the Tenno have awakened the shrine re-emerged but Koumei is still trapped in the void and probably captured by the Whisper in the Walls.

9:07 This line abiut a bug may be refering to real life animals: Water Striders. They are small insrcts which use surface tension to move about on the surface of the water. Not sure but my theory is that in a way, they may try to say that there is kore to it all than we think(?). Not sure but the line made my think of water striders

About "the bug": I feel like it IS somehow related to that key-bug from the intro cutscene, and more importantly that it's part of the Unum proper. The Unum is the only primarily orokin thing there after all, and we know through Gara's lore that she can make "agents" out of the local fauna- her deciding to put out a few particularly on-the-nose agents (ie, a bug that looks like a void key) feels like something she could do if it felt important to the messages she wanted to send, even just to say "I'm here and listening, please don't squash my agents".

If Ballas makes all frames, then maybe he has a contingency that prevents them from working against him, thus Koumei not being able to see what he'd eventually end up doing. That, or Koumei is no different to The Unum and The Quills; selective fate seeing. OR, maybe she knew there was nothing to manipulate.

I might've misunderstood something but I think it talked about how people used and aboused "it's power" It gives a bit of the same vibe as Kurama from Naruto, a powerful being that is extremely jaded and angry at humanity for their treatment of him.

From what I understand the founder of Cetus that took a plunge into the sea just might be the Infected Oni that we fight off in Saya's Dream. Another thing is that I guess failing to defeat it would wake up the Infestation on that sleeps in the sea and Koumei's re-emergence is a pretty good sign that those things are a legitimate threat, perhaps we could have some expansion on the topic in future content like we got Sea-Born in Arknights alongside Iberia.

What if koumei and the unum are are the same beings or at least connected, the unum is situated quite far off the shore giving credence to the story of her rising from the ocean , they both share similar power with the unum being able to even stop time for a short amount of time and both are referred to as females , once the tower went into disarray due to the orokin collapse koumei simply returned to the unum and once the tower was destroyed she made an appearance again there was simply nothing left to maintain anymore
