Is umbra warframe still able to realize him self while tenno is in transferense or connection with him ? Can umbra help tenno for example in mission ? Like he saved him from lotus . Was it umbras will who saved him . Or is tenno control him remotely

Yes, he's able to realize himself while in transference. Yes, umbra can help tenno in missions, the tennos freed him and gave him back his sentience(ability to make his own decisions). Umbra was the one who saved him.

i was with him during a cutscene in the new war and it didn't make sense because he just stood quiet like a normal warframe

Since Umbra Forma supposedly broke the lore, do you think it would make any sense if freeing a different warframe would be possible? What I mean is like stacking 3 Umbra Formas on one warframe allowing them to act like Exalibur Umbra when you transference out. Maybe unlocking a special one-time cutscene where you bond with them and set them free.

I personally was hoping that sacrifice would have done that. A way to bond with your frame and give them back their free will.

@@thelorearchive6169 To be honest I thought of similar thing as well. People were speculating that warframes will act like AI specters on transference out and we got exactly that, but only for Excalibur Umbra. I was a little dissapointed but in the end I think that's for the better. The idea of freeing another warframe though, is very tempting. And if it would indeed require 3 Umbra Formas, that would require quite some dedication to spend 3 Nightwave seasons to achieve it for a single warframe.

@@ksenomorf170 I see what you're getting at, but I don't really think so. Excal Umbra is who he is, because of his torment, true. But that's also source of his unique powers, including Umbral polarities. Since introduction of Umbra Forma, lore got sort of broken, unless we don't know something really important about these "umbra pills". So if they allow you to obtain the exact same powers (- radial howl) on your other warframes, I feel it would make as much sense to make warframe at least semi concious once you stack 3. It would also be a cute reward for dedication in working for 3 NW seasons.

I'd prefer an actual umbra type with mission/quests to get them with lore. The Ember and Rhino Prime entries are extremely suspicious as Rhino seems to have started as a rampaging beast and Ember's was all about an officer that met the Zariman kids, we don't need every warframe made into an Umbra that would get old fast, but perhaps just some of the older types like Excalibur and as I said before those Prime frames with mysterious entries.

@@Luk04G let me run a fact check on that. yeah it's purely cosmetic and drip. I guess Umbra is meant to be a more night assailant version of Excaliber so he gets the cool scarf and loin cloth.
