At one point you mention that the sound of the weapon is one of the things that makes it feel great. It would be nice if your videos would include a segment where we could hear the game audio, so that we get the chance to hear the weapons before we get them too!

It seems you have missed "High Ground" on the last evolution. "Increase BASE critical chance by 25% of current status chance, up to 35%". That should easily give you >100% crit AND status chance. You know, since you wanted a hybrid build :)

I've tried both the base CC increase for SC is much better. I ran Galvanized Aptiude, Hammer shot, and 3 60,60s and had well over 100% CC and CD. I also used Blast and toxin, and toxin procced primary blight.

Yeah, I run a hybrid build with corrosive cold 60/60s and High Ground, and it shreds, so fun

Love the Dera. Went with High Ground for the last evolution (increasing CC based on SC). Gas + Electric with 60/60 mods + Hammer Shot and it has it all, AOE in regular form, more than enough dmg in Incarnon. Great gun.

This thing with the Evolution 4 perk that increases your base crit chance based on your modded status chance is absolutely amazing, because you get to run Blast for AoE and Hammer Shot becomes the strongest mod in the entire game. It feels incredible honestly, it kills the hell out of everything even if you don't run armor strip, and if you do it becomes even better with the Blast procs straight up wiping crowds out. I was so pleasantly surprised when I got this thing and gave it a shot, and yeah I agree it might be my new favorite auto rifle too.

I remember this from way back when. The Incarnon looks obscene. If you like the regular form as well, you might try the Supra Vandal. More of an energy 'belt-fed' machine gun, but still.

Great video. I'm loving Dera too. Small correction: not all projectiles have multiplicative base damage scaling with GApittude, and Dera doesn't in either mode. And it's probably been mentioned 50x in the comments, but try Higher Ground! It's got MCGamer written all over it. "It's over Anakin. I have the High(er) Ground/"

I'm looking forward to this rolling back around; couldn't pass up Sybaris and Sicarus on the first rotation but Dera Vandal was once one of my favourite Mag weapons. I'll always enjoy stuff like this more than fancy AOEs.

Took it to a steel path without leveling it up, and without having that final evolution. It shred. The only thing that was on it besides normal mods was a rank 3 Primary Merciless. Took a bit to get going, but no stopping it once it got going.

Last weapon i felt this positive about a weapon is the atomos. Not super top tier but very satisfying to use. The mobs die too fast to charge it up in a timely manner, but that doesnt matter, the normal mode shreds like a nukor. Ease of use is more important to me so a angstrum sees way more play than a dual tox.

Built this with blast, kinda perform like Sybaris incarnon, more stacking required to get to Sybaris damage, but once it does, it feels like Sybaris incarnon but better

Just blast or blast tox/electric. I'm currently using a gas based one and it's quite good.

I love using it with Citrine. High Ground (4th evo) + Prismatic Gem synergy its very good. You can even run just pure elemental damage mods and Citrines Prismatic gem would give enough Status Chance to max out High Ground by itself. The only downside being that you have to stay withing its range.

I use high ground instead of deathtrap trigger and this gun reaches over 100% in both crit and status with my build.

I used the high ground evolution simply because I'm huffing that hammer shot copium and anything that makes that mod slotable i use. Then just sacrificing some damage by using 60/60 rather than primed cryo rounds and we're in business. Not like most enemies are hard to kill to begin with.

Requesting a build. Using Argonak as a stat stick with the amalgam augment, a Balla zaw dagger (status based) with gas electricity. Use exodia contagion and melee influence. The spectral daggers from contagion proc gas and electric which gets spread due to influence and the procs ticking strip armor in an aoe due to the amalgam mod. It's very silly.

what I don't like about the incarnon mode of the dera is the high disparity between the fire rate of the default fire mode and the fire rate of the incarnon mode. I have to put in an incredible amount of fire rate to make the incarnon mode barable but then the normal fire just chews through ammo.. why did they do this?

You don't need to use a bunch of fire rate mods, all you need is reinforced bond on your companion. Alternatively, you can use arcane acceleration.

Dera sucks. This weapon definitely doesn't perform like this. I have no idea what the guy did, or what combo he was running on the background. I have a 6 forma Dera Vandal, with the Incarnon upgrade, as well as a 100% status chance plus 166% puncture riven. I've built it exactly like in the video, with the exception of the primed cold, and, with my 228% strength sevagoth shadow haze, it deals at most 40k damage per shot at hydron steel path. A red!! Critical btw. Granted that i don't have the primary arcane installed. (I'd much rather use that on an Mk1 Braton than waste it on this crap) *Edit* hoh, silly me. I forgot to add that my riven also adds +199,4% damage. (With the negative being -78% status duration) *Edit 2* Also, 7 forma Dera Vandal now. (Had put three naramon polarities on this thing trying to increase status effect damage)
