I think this game existence will be good for warframe, people that played this game if one day tries warframe for the first time will be more familiar with the systems thats the thing that most new players get overwhelmed.

i feel like these days, its incredibly difficult NOT to make a game that can be seen as copying some aspect of another. As long as we can find what differentiates them, and appreciate more games that have familiarity that allow us to get stuck into them without having to think too hard about completely learning something new...

But thats the thing, besides aesthetic, this game really doesnt do anything new with the genre. Its basically the same game with a different skin but somehow the gameplay is not even as compelling. Its hard to not make comparisons when its almost a direct copy of other games.

The ammount of copium in this comment, there's no "familiarity", 90% of the systems on TFD are just Warframe's systems. 1 to 1 carbon copies. I don't feel like I'm playing warframe, I feel like I'm playing a game that's copying warframe without knowing what made the original game good. There's no creative effort, plain old gacha-game story, generic ahh character design and and worst of all, I don't feel the soul and effort of any dev put into this, it's just a cashgrab.

@@davidreaperzx2476 this isnt copium or whatever shit kids are saying these days, this is me trying to rationalize and find a middle ground between the opinion that "everything is a copy of something, nothing is original anymore, accept it" and "everything NEEDS to try harder to be original!! This is too much like [insert game] and it shouldnt be!" Like. the entire point of my comment was about not trashing every single game that gets released and comparing it to something similar, because this argument has been happening since games existed! how many companies made something like Super Mario Bros when it released on the NES? tons. Hell, I still remember playing Alex Kidd and thinking it was kind of like mario, for example. Thats what i was trying to convey. That instead of shitting on a game because "this reminds me of X" you can still acknowledge that part of a game and look for what makes it unique at the same time. take Mihoyo for example and all their games? Genshin, Honkai, Star rail, ZZZ, you can complain about the fact theyre all "copies" of each other, they literally re-use characters from each of their games in different outfits. The stylized cel shading and anime look is similar, the art, the direction they take their VAs, the only originality is focused on the gameplay and storylines, and even thats convoluted because they connect in some multiverse stuff. And you can compare those to MANY others like Wuthering Waves, Project Mugen, Neverness to Everness, Tower of Fantasy, or even Duet Night Abyss which is literally nicknamed Warframe Impact because it has similar gun combat, bullet jumping, several characters with abilities that echo frames like Hydroid and Titania... but in that FAMILIAR 'hoyo-esque' art style. The familiarity im talking about is LITERALLY what you just described. "Theres no 'familiarity'. 90% of the systems on TFD are just Warframes systems" If you can see the similarities and its a familiar system to you, then thats literally what i was fucking talking about. You cant contradict yourself by saying theres no familiarity and then immediately follow up by saying theyre a 1/1 carbon copy.... you know what that feeling is? The feeling that the game is familiar to Warframe or a copy. it means youre already familiar with it. and drawing comparisons. Make it make sense. Im not even trying to DEFEND TFD here, the problem is that the crux of my comment, the core point of it, has gone so thoroughly over your head in favor of pure hatred of this game with nothing but negativity being expressed and no willingness to even try to have an open discussion.

@@krisma3526 see my response to the other person, it conveys essentially what i would say to you, but if id seen your comment first i would have been a whole shitload nicer about it than what i was to that other person. I get where youre coming from, but thats not really what i was trying to say.

This game does feel a lot like war frame the more like a convoluted version, or frame is a lot more simple and easier to understand what’s going on

There's definitely similarities between the 2 games but it feels like a completely different game, I don't see why people call it Warframe clone because even the movement is different. Abilities share similarities but it just feels like an action rpg battle system.

clone literally means identical copy. if this game is a clone of warframe, it means developers did very good job creating new game that works like already good warframe. with better skins. that's a win

Better skins? You have to be joking lmfao. Warframe has practically infinite customization. You have to pay for paint in this game and can't even use it on other characters. Just cause you can't make good fashion doesn't mean it's better 😭

I love warframe and yes this is warframe and destiny mixed in one as a warframe player this to me is a great game so far just expensive to buy somethings...
