Protea was my main since her release. I've made so many builds for her to the point where I had to delete most of them because I couldn't use them all, lol. And a fun fact about her needing strength, I typically don't mod her for it. I use abilities/arcanes that grant me a nice chunk of strength. Molt + GP + madurai = 125% extra strength. Still an awesome build thought nonetheless. Might actually use it and tweak it to my liking once gee prime is released

This is intentional It's mainly for engagement and to reduce stupid comments but as someone trying to make it within the builds space, I get a lot of people who skip to the build section and just copy the build with nothing else put into it. The zooms make this less prevalent and are thus, much better for me.

i liked your video, i love protea and don't see her being played that much while I see her helminth ability on every wisp x) on the build side, i use a low strenght build with her ult augment for armor strip (no helminth) i compensate the lack of strenght for my first 3 with zenurik's well, molt vigor and her passif, grenade fans are used to armor strip the whole map

Didn't mention archon shards namely Casting Speed and Energy Max to save mod space. Other than that great vid, figured our builds would be similar! Just two mods different, I have Overextended/Narrowminded in place of Umbral Intensify/Constitution. Personally I like having more Duration, still scales her damage while also being QoL not having to spam buttons quite as much. Can always use Augur Reach instead of Overextended for more strength, but I like having some extra range too.

6:27 when whispers in the walls drops tomorrow, overshields will not count towards your shieldgate anymore as it was unintentional. with 555 base shields you will only get a 3.36 second shieldgate. edit: 3.36 seconds with shield satellites.

My problem with protea is that she's so strong it becomes boring. Its like when you activate cheats in a game and play for 10 minutes while invincible and killing stuff with one hit. It becomes boring really fast. But shes undoubtedly one of, if not the, strongest warframe.

But, I feel like I can just slap an ocucor on a rhino and Il get more dps, survivability, versitility and general quality of life. Roar does not increase ability strength, what it does is it acts as a last multiplier of your damage on any sources of damage (idk if all of them but weapons and abilities that do damage are affecyed by roar) so it does not make all of your abilities stronger.

@@verveunknown171 403% is the power strength on Protea, NOT the actual buff. The number being displayed by Roar is the final multiplier he's talking about. So that 110% you are seeing Roar having is the final damage multiplier it is giving you. The 403% power strength referred to in the video will not directly translate to the number Roar displays because that's not how the ability scales. If your power strength was actually capping out at 110%, Roar would be displaying like 33% buff. If that makes more sense?

Best subsume is Gloom, not roar. A Protea with 175 Ability Power can use her passive (every third cast +100 ability power) to snapshot gloom with max effect and an absolutely insane range. You also have infinite energy from Dispensary so max power insane range gloom that never runs out makes all content a breeze.

You know, people complain often about how clunky Temporal Anchor is to use, but realistically speaking, DE could easily fix this by simply making it a channeled ability. That way, you're not forced to rewind unless you die or manually rewind.

She's my first frame after the default one and got her from a twitch drop. Can't believe a frame from a twitch drop will be my favorite frame. I've only been playing for more than a year and she's my most used frame. I remember when we we're doing steel path survival. One is an arrogant high rank who told me to not use my turrets. I didn't and they got overwhelmed fast and two died. I used my turrets to clear and they shut up after that and used my turrets with no further objection. 😂 Still on the process of getting nautilus for cordon. I prefer playing frames vanilla save for some. Thanks for the build.
