I was offered a free wukong prime syatems by another player when he realized that I was trying to build wukong prime but I was still having my free Plat and hence couldn't trade it. Man I felt so bad that I traded a few parts of a prime weapon I had. Another player even traded his axi relics for free to help me get his blueprint .now I feel kinda bad because the only thing I could offer him was another few parts of a prime weapon. it always ever seemed to happen on console. i had to leave the xbox community for these problems. it was overly toxic, there were tons of scammers, and people were selling things for overly dramatic prices. i even had this one guy try to buy a lotus kubrow imprint i was selling, but then when we were almost done, he exited the trade and threatened to report me when it was quite clearly what i said.

I once had a similar but opposite experience while trading. I forgot what I was trading, but when I DM to trade, I make certain to include the name of what I seek, as well as the plat price I saw the item was listed for (partly to show to other party that I’ve done my research on what they listed the item for so I can pressure them if they try to haggle me, or lie). I saw it listed for 20p on WarframeMarket, but they must have thought they listed it for 15p. Still gave them the 20p because I’d already run the numbers through my head and that additional 5p would have thrown off my calculations. They were quite happy.

Whenever I experience these hackers, I give them a gold mod from the Index/Conclave that looks expensive but actually isn't. That way they think they are still scamming you and you get free platinum. Just from this technique alone, i was able to afford a potato for my warframe in less than a week.
