If folk have been following me on le social medias, you'll prob know I've been learning Blender and a lot of my time has been goin' into it. Though that's not to say raw laziness wasn't a factor as well. i think the reason as to why deadlock has no test cluster is because DE did that kind of update for years while stuff like liches and railjack where brand new and formerly not present in any way within the game. like they said, deadlock is a traditional update with tile set redesigns, a new warframe + quest and a boss rework. you cant make mistakes there on the scale of railjack, a basically new game within a game and scarlet spear, an event with completely seperate matchmaking and data flows

A recent realization by DE, or so I've heard, is that introducing new content takes a lot of focus away from bugs that existed prior to the content's release; the bigger the content, the bigger the distraction. Which makes sense; like how, when inviting guests over, you focus on cleaning the rooms they'll see more diligently. Hence, the last two updates have been focused around revisiting past content. As a side note, they've likely learned the hard way that buckling down and focusing on current issues at the expense of fresh and interesting additions to the game is a good way to summon an angry mob of veteran players chanting about content drought to their doorstep. As a result, the game grows beyond the team's ability to maintain it at 100%. Perhaps the company needs more employees, not that it's such an easy thing to just up and employ a larger workforce. Budget concerns and such.

8:15 Remember day 1 Railjack resources costs and getting very little in the first place? While this was addressed rather quickly comparatively to other problems and was fixed before Christmas for PC users, Console players had no such luck. It wasn’t until the end of January with the following update that it was addressed for Console (I was singing that Failjack Shanty by PsyCo for over a month). That was over a month with poor rewards and if first impressions were everything that sank the ship for me and plenty of others. They also tried to reconcile the major wait with a 7 day resource booster after everyone was universally done with the mode, never have I received a worse slap in the face from a game at least. If it wasn’t for the general fix and warframe changes made in the following update I would have 100% dropped Warframe altogether, good changes to standard gameplay and give some survivability to a lot of the weaker frames. Even now with all of the changes I would run into more people playing frame fighter than railjack, damage had been done.

Why not go into a forum and look at some complete warframe concepts, see which ones are detailed enough for you to talk about, and do videos on what those warframes would be like if they were put into the game. After watching edit: yea I think a test cluster would be really good for update quality but I feel like the main thing holding it back for now is that DE also does have this mentality of really wanting to surprise the players with the content they put out and that kinda clashes with the inherent spoilers that would be present in a potential test cluster. This also could be addressed by just having a bit of a mindset shift in regards to the concept of test clusters as less of a place for “spoilers” or unfinished releases and more of an extended review panel to make sure the update goes smoothly

3:51 I solo farmed the hema last week and I gotta say, I wouldn't feel disrespected if they lowered the cost to something like 1k. You might think that that's a lot, but I could farm 1k mutagen samples in about 5 hours (solo, but with both boosters). so I have to agree, that reason is bs.

Nearly a year ago there was a bug where you would get additional copies of boss sigils every single time you killed them. this wasn't a problem for most bosses because the sigils were sellable, but this also happened with stalker who's sigil is not sellable, and coincided with baro bringing a stalker beacon for the first time after they released smoking body... Sigils do not stack in your inventory, and unlike when this happens with helmets, each duplicate is displayed individually in your sigil customization menu. My sigil menu (and I'm sure hundreds if not thousands of other players' too) is MASSIVELY cluttered with tens of these things. customizing sigils is a massive pain in the ass with half a mile of scrolling between when they start and end. Tons of bug reports on the forums and I've sent a few tickets about it, about a month ago I finally got a response that essentially said "we can't help you with this, you'll just have to wait till its fixed gamewide" it should've been a fix made within a week of that bug popping up, they should've fixed it along with the bug of picking up multiple sigils, but it's still in the game and DE has done nothing about it. it would be as easy as making stalker's sigil sellable like every other boss sigil in the game. He always drops it, if you accidentally sell all of them you'll just pick a new one up next time you defeat him. they don't even need to recode anything, it would probably take less than 10 minutes to do. but it's still not fixed. Also zambuka sculpture exists.

I have a game mode idea where your chosen frame gets captured by a boss for example Alad V and basically you start out with no weapons and the only way to get weapons is to loot it from the bodies of the enemies you have killed and ammo is highly restricted in this mode which means you have to swap weapons frequently and to complete this game mode you have to defeat all the enemies until you reach the round that contains the boss (oh btw this game mode is solo only and you only have one revive) during certain waves there will be restrictions like the ability to not use your operator or reduced energy for the round or something of that sort and basically the enemy drops will and can be used during that match like for example this corpus soldier dropped some cryo rounds after the round is over and during a minute of intermission you could attach that to your weapon (p.s. at the end of the game all mods/items used will still be in the rewards section) some rounds will also contain mini bosses which will drop insanely rare loot for example idk the adaptation mod i srsly havent played this game long enough to know what is SUPER rare but anyway this will come every 10 rounds and there are 40 rounds before the boss ( mini bosses wont always spawn every 10 rounds but you are guaranteed 2 per game) the boss drops will probably be riven mods or requim relics depends on rng and also enemy levels will start at level 15 and every 10 rounds their level increases by 10 thats not all their spawn rates will also increase as the waves progress which means more enemies to fight as enemy level increase your health and damage out put also increase so you dont become a squishy frame near the end and also gun stats that enemies drop become extremely better as the waves progress also the only thing that will not change is your selected warframe and its current build also plz comment feedback on this idea i literally just thought this idea up 20 mins ago so like yea

If youve ever seen the one cache entrance where part of the floor is glass, shoot at the bottom left part when entering since theres a grineer down there, both him and you can shoot through.

To be honest, the moment I read what you had to do with SS, I had 2 frames come to mind. First Chroma and damage buff frames in general would help a ton on the ground. The second, Limbo would be the best frame overall to defend with. I had that thought before I even played my first round. After a round of each ground and space mission, it was obvious just how good limbo would be in SS. There are ton's of players who would/are able to do the same with a mere description. That is, come up with a rough idea of which frames would perform far above most other frames. I am more disappointed that DE couldn't recognize SS was simply 2 different mobile defense missions and of course frames like limbo would rule SS.

Can confirm: first impressions are vital. I play the game in bursts, and came back to check out Scarlet Spear. Didn't like what I saw, closed the game after that first evening, and didn't go back for a while. Missed out on those sweet arcanes, but I didn't care enough to grind my face against a wall for hours, not with the first impression I got of the event.

One example is scarlet spear, it’s pretty much wrecked the arcane market and it probably won’t bounce back until a few months down the line.
