Warframe: The Hex Finale (1999 "Good End" Quest)

This is basically the same as the 1999 quest's final part, except everything goes well. To access this mission, you just need to strengthening your bond with each of the members by chatting to them. You can chat with them once per day, and you can easily get friendly with them all with only 4 chats. The ending was a bit confusing, but there was not supposed to be any NPCs in the backroom, as shown here. However, instead of the quest completing, it only showed "Please wait...", so you did not see the post-end cutscene (kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXjQgYqXoNVqpbM). You would also get an inbox message from Arthur with the subject "Hard to believe": Drifter, Albrecht's gone. Rusalka too. I can't believe how close we came to oblivion. You showed us what we were missing. For that... thank you. You still need to keep the loop going, though, don't you? Because it's not enough to put things right, is it. We need to keep them right. Interesting. Seems like Entrati’s plan was to force us to care about the Hive so that we’d be able to fight the Indifference. He did say love was the “poison to its plan” so increasing our compassion would make sense.

Hex* but yes! :> esp considering the drifter has spent how long in duviri largely numb to the constant loops so its like relearning it since the Tenno don't need too (and operator seemingly doesn't have the Duviri rewind time power like the Drifter has so like Lotus said, it HAD to be us) EDIT: yeah and he didn't force us like below said, we made that choice, he just gave us a way to do so (albeit cryptically bc ofc)

to anyone wondering how to get this to work: buying gifts for everyone through the backroom pc will raise chemistry enough that you can do most of their chat conversations in one go- once you've done enough chats with someone you'll get a quick cutscene of a link being formed with that character and your drifter. and once you've got all six links, you can start the finale from kalymos. currently don't know whether you can fuck it up by choosing the wrong dialogue options or not so your mileage may vary.

I assumed it was his heart blowing up or something. But yeah, Warframes in general are still technically living beings with organs etc. They all come from the “Helmith” strain of The Infested, which specifically turns bodies into essentially living armour and maximizes survivability - albiet at the cost of the hosts sentience and sanity (with there being few notable exceptions, like Umbra). Very Biopunk esq now that I think about it.

And both of those Excal variants were turned against their will, still having elements of humanity underneath all the metal. The operator and drifter are two sides of the same coin. Alike, but different, never quite the same, but similar.

She strong enough but because her body took all the burden, the exertion, ALONE, she can't. But then drifter using transference to share her burden so that she can go all out, no longer limited by her physicality.

In short, all protoframes are limited by their body, its like having powerful GPU and processor in your PC but with tiny heatsink. Drifter just simply provide nitrogen cooling system by using transference

It's load sharing. Aoi's power is restrained by her physical body, but with the drifter running back-up and providing extra juice as a semi-void entity (and our extensive experience manipulating frames), we helped Aoi better regulate and control her abilities without overtaxing her brain.

Aoi is extremely powerful as Mag, but her body isn't. Drifter was using transference on each of them to bring out their TRUE power, Quincy didn't know how to use wall hack and Amir didn't know how to use his full power to slow time and use parazon until they were shown how to do it

i dont know how to describe the exact feeling it gives me but the parallel between the lines "i can save them." "not unless you know them." from the og hex quest and "your heart would struggle to move them. it had to grow, the only way it knew how. with others." from this one is just top notch. might be the first time ever that this game actually made me cry real tears, especially knowing the bond we formed with the hex and the shit we've talked about. might be the best written part of the game Ever, which is crazy compared to trainwreck of the zariman just two years ago

For anyone wondering, there is a bug with gifting multiple times. You are only supposed to be able to chat, gift and do a mission to raise chemistry once per day each hex. Once you raise enough chemistry with each, you can do the quest.

I’m not able to gift anything to Aoi anymore. I’ve only gifted her 2 things (The present icon is grayed out) and have had 2 conversations with her. I’m still able to buy multiple gifts for everyone else still. Also the only other member I’ve had multiple conversations with is Eleanor. Around 7 convos with her so far. I think this may be bugged.

- arthur: cooking apparati (toaster, propane tank, tannoy, etc) - aoi: music stuff & bikes (scooticle, on-lyne merch, headphones) - amir: gaming stuff (hockey table, kah system & monitor, etc) - letticia: coffee and medical stuff (first aid kid, coffee machine, pillows) - eleanor: journalism stuff (pens, pads, binder) - quincy: practical items (posters, cellphones, av receivers, etc.) quincy also has a specific item that levels his rank up twice but you have to undergo a specific dialogue tree so the game registers it as a chemistry-increasing item.

The intended progression is that you do the 1999 quest, where you 'fail' new year's eve, then get to 'know' the Hex by chatting with them, and finally once you have enough rapport, do this quest to try again & get it right, for some 'closure'.
