Here's a little thing I noticed with Vesper 77 yesterday. It appears it doesn't treat clones as enemies for the highlighting trait. So, if you're fighting an enemy like Amar, a Lich with Ruse, or any future enemy with a clone mechanic, if this only highlights weak points of real enemies this weapon could be useful for that fight.

It's basically a Lex Prime with a suppressor and laser sight but no Incarnon adapter. Fire rate, magazine size, and base damage are exactly the same, while reload, crit chance, and status chance are almost exactly the same.

many peoples don't understand that "vibe" of using unpopular weapons and just go with torid every mission.Not like i really care how they get fun from the game but DE is creating a lot of weapons like this. It's mostly the head or weird stuff on the backs... Like Moas the Head is in the "chest", except the murmur that things has weird "weakpoints" for example the 2 feet with a book in the head... the Weakpoint is the middle point (where is nothing)

This pistol is EXTREMELY competent. It is in no way "gimped". It just isn't a room-clearing 1-click Incarnon. Which is totally fine. Give me a dozen more weapons that feel good and aren't pure MR fodder that I will loathe to use in Circuit/EDA, over a new Incarnon ANY DAY.

I have been using a Tenet plinx for a very long time, it's pretty powerful enough and since doesn't consume secundary ammo, it's benefit the primary weapon mutation magazine. But I appreciate the fact you say this weapon it's not meta but it's for roleplay purposes, I use it in the playthough of the update and I enjoy using it, indeed give the vibe of a strong weapon despite the numbers.

Eventually you want to really try out Gauss from a certain Disruption node, or you can try Kullervo from Duviri who is VERY focused on normal melee hits. Mirage and Nezha are also great general purpose weapons platforms, much like Gauss, but they're easier to get.

I like this gun... but it's sometimes is bad, if you hit in the weakpoint you hit 3M but if you hit the leg it hits like 300 (not 300k... 300) and if you are using a stealth frame in a match with someone Or nyx it's boring to hit a headshot the enemies turn around randomly I will still use the gun i like supressors

ive made a test with the rifle acuity on the gotva prime and sthalta, the results were pretty surprising, it works pretty well on wepons with great crit damage, u can also change primed pistol gambit and hornet strike for creeping bullseye and the pistol cannonade getting even more damage, more crit chance and also some penetration, without the debuff from creeping bullseye

personally all 1999 weapons (and maybe some tenno/grinner standard physical bullet ones like karak, latron) should have shorter tactical reload when you reload with at last one bullet in magazine because that way your gun is still chambered with bullet and you don't need to chamber and cook the gun. for example colt 1911 have 7 bullet mag but you can also chamber one bullet to have max 8. sure in the carry scenario you would have to cook the gun before shooting by pulling the hammer back, but in active combat you can shave off few seconds by reloading with that last bullet still in barrel.

It's great for Kullervo, just like other snipers, the only Warframe that makes single target slow weapons worth running at all. Harrow is okay, but he doesn't really make it deal with enemies faster. I wonder if subsuming Cyte-09 on Kullervo is viable, I'll need to test that when I get home 😅 Probably not because to keep his invis going he needs to headshot enemies and chained enemies probably don't count.

There is also a new mod called semi-pistol cannonade that's way better than hornet strike on this weapon since it gives 300% damage and 1.5 punch trough plus it costs 5 points less. The only downside this mod has is only being able to put on semi auto trigger weapons which this is.

A silent Lex with boosted Weakpoint Crit. I honestly feel like this weapon is more useful in the hands of True-Invis Frames; mostly Ash, Cyte-09, Ivara, and Loki (Ironically, the OG Invis Frame is straight-up just upgraded by having Cyte-09's Evade ability, which using the Vesper-77 can extend ad infinitum). Octavia just crouch-spams, and Voruna's Invis is literally the same as Cyte's but for melee. Note: Wisp and Wukong are not what I would call _True_ Invis Frames. Wisp's Invis is at best a gimmicky survivability tool, and Wukong's Cloud Walker is a movement tool.

Kinda want to try building the Vesper for gas, since the status is pretty decent. Gas benefits from headshot buffs still, doesn't it? With all of the crit damage/headshot buffs you can stack on it, I'm wondering if building for gas would be a decent way of giving it a bit of splash independent of your Warframe choice (probably would fall off hard in higher levels, but it sounds like it could be fun in more relaxed missions, at least)
