@@xypherpl9506 Depends on how comfortable you are with The Lost. Some people (including me) find it awkward to work with. You basically only use Gaze, and it's stationary with a small radius where you want to be moving, so an alternate armor strip skill can feel better (Terrify, Pillage, Tharos strike, Orphanim Eyes).

Nourish over 1 build synergizes with Accuse, making the temporal allies have the viral explosions to prime enemies around + it allows you to prime without modding for viral, so you can make better use of other elements like cold and removes the need for Energize => Arcane Ice Storm => 400% strength is achievable = 100% slow + the cold for insane defenses. Also, with Nourish you do not have to focus on duration at all because the energy allows you to cast more often (+ the 40% from Arcane Ice Storm), which further opens modding space and allows for more mobile/faster gameplay rather than just camping. For companion, I would go Hound with the disarming and even more priming, its hilarious to watch disarming enemies under the radiation effect trying to beat each other.

I have 2 main setups on xaku, a boring fast deflection/catalyzing shields + rolling guard setup and the gigachad “just forget and play” shield tanking setup that got enabled by the larger base shields with the prime variant: The usual aegis setup, adaptation + P redirection + aaegis. Same amounts of mods, the arcane is different and it frees you up from having to jump through hoops while playing. A win-win.

Have multiple builds for xaku now, found my best no helminth set up is: all umbrals, overextended, transient fortitude, primed cont, stretch, rolling guard, brief respite in aura and 3 tau red for strength, 2 tau blue for energy, with molt augmented and second arcane I switch between molt efficiency and aegis. This has the same range and duration as your build but over 200 str. With the shards it may as well be a flow. Rarely find myself energy starved unless on an execution tbh. I know many arent fans of running all umbrals when not needed, but the strength boost without sacrificing efficiency bc Xaku is a hungry mf with its abilities, really helps

tbh something i dont see alot of ppl mention is using mesa's helmith with the augment for constant blinds since u still get some dmg bonus but have a much easier time surviving since xaku kpm is high triggering the augment constantly and also removes the times when xata bubbles can become annoying

Relentless Loss is fairly underrated as an augment imo. 105% power strength when you need to basically get up to 300% (to counter act Overextended). Interesting thing is that it auto-cycles the abilities for you. Casting once, casts the ability and then moves it to the next one. Helps a ton for the management aspect of it.

My setup is slightly different, I wanted a “functions right out of the box” play style so my shards actually were used to build 60% power strength and a yellow shard for casting speed. This allows me to offset the strength reduction from overextended allowing me to reach 199% strength with a transient fortitude and a maxed umbral intensify. I only need to kill 5 enemies for my molt augmented to grant the 200% needed for full defense strip. I used primed continuity to offset the duration decrease giving 128% duration giving 31 seconds on vast untime. I don’t run every range mod, only stretch, overextended, and cunning drift to get 15 weapons which is merely one away from the max of 16, the extra mods this is because I use primed redirection, fast deflection, and the vigilante mod that also upgrades shields granting rapidly regenerating shields that pair well with Xaku’s evasion. For arcanes I use molt augmented and arcane aegis. I run the zenurik focus school to pad out energy and a sly vulpaphyla for free ability casts through mystic bond and the enemy accuracy reduction it grants.

Tested out no helminth Xaku prime with only 1 forma in SP void survival and was literally having no issues. The build isn’t done I just wanted to play to see what I wanted to add (found out it’s range) and it was only 10mins but I don’t play survival that long anyways. Nonetheless they’re an incredibly fun frame to play so far I’m excited to make them stronger!

One thing i never liked about their third ability is that it isnt telling the truth, it says it removes armour and shields from enemies but in my experience it removes armour OR shields from an enemy. I notice it mostly on the acolytes or oxium ospreys

Thats some rookie understanding, it removes armour AND shields, it is not probability based. They meant this skill have the ability to remove both enemy protection. And theres currently no overlapping of armour and shield together on a single enemy. They dont need to state with “or”

20% multi shot makes it so the DMG of a single shot is 20% more DMG of what the gun deals. 100% means it's multiplied by 2 making the gun deal the DMG the amount of 2 shots with 1 bullet/fire.

It's up to you how you wanna play it. You can rush it or take your time with it. I do however suggest you take it slow as some people who rushed it found themselves struggling later in the game. And a little advice...don't spend plat on anything besides slots. You will unlock primes and have plenty of copies as you go on. Once you unlock the circuit, you can test out the base version of some weapons and warframes, which will help you out to make a decision on what you wanna prioritise to get as primes. Eventually you'll be able to fully max everything. Oh and one last thing....don't sell for credits any quest items as it will be a nightmare to get them back.

I actually tried running fire blast subsumed over his 3 and so far its been pretty good and i did that bc I really don't like his 3 bc not only 2 out of the 3 subabilites just don't do it for me or just doesnt seem to have a crazy effect IMO. And the armor strip one has me like "really mf....." now yes I am aware that I have to cast it twice to strip the enemies which may or may not be a drain on energy depending on energy amount (honestly I just don't spam it much,yes you can say "just don't spam" about anything) BUT at least they stay stripped. And I don't have to worry about mods for it or worry about vast untime not affecting it,bc it isn't a duration power so yeah. IMHO it's the best if you are wanting a better armor strip

Been really enjoying Tempest Barrage + augment on Xaku with 1 Tauforged green shard for stripping more armor. It buffs both weapons AND his abilities a lot, something Xata's Whisper does not, makes him a more active frame (instead of just refreshing his ability timers every now and then) and it's easy to fit with all Xaku builds wanting a lot of strength and range. The only question is whether to subsume over Xata's Whisper or The Lost? I do enjoy using Accuse and Gaze is still useful for stripping armor of off certain enemies that have status caps like Acolytes or more stationary mission types like survival, so I chose to keep The Lost. But keeping Xata's Whisper is better if you're focusing hard on gunplay. Obligatory recommendation of using Exergis with Xata's Whisper: The bullet attractor effect trapping the Exergis's shots and then letting them loose in random direction gives a nice bit of AoE to this single target shotgun ^^

I have been really enjoying Xaku with Ophanim Eyes subsumed lately in anticipation of a prime. Yes, it isnt instant armor strip and requires more strenght, has enemy slow + heat procs. And the gradual defense strip isnt that big of a problem, cause even partial strip is now more effective after Jade Shadows and you have constantly firing void turrets. Good vid tho, as always.

i didnt want to use archon shards on xaku so i tried a few things first: i tried to go wtih 270 range and 180 strength but duration and my efficiency was crap, since i had no space for flow i could barely upkeep myself. second: i then decided to try 240 strength and 170 range with 110 duration. i went with nourish on xaku's first. this worked really well. although i didnt have alot of energy i could easily sustain energy. third: i tried to stealth gun play setup with shade, with the nourish setup. it was extremely boring like you said. the enemies died relatively alright, but definitely nothing compared to some other frames. fourth and final setup was with balanced 180 strength and 170 range with 145 duration and 110 efficiency. no subsume. this build was alooot better felt more sustainable, didnt feel power hungry and i had space to slot in flow in this build so that was fantastic too. i'd recommend going for arcane steadfast and molt augmented for this setup, as you will constantly cast your 4 getting free casts is super nice. especially in early sp missions.

So far the only build I’ve crafted and decided to go with was dual toxy+ green shards and subsume nourish on 3. Energy nexus + nourish pretty much takes care of energy but I have 1 equilibrium shard just in case. Dualies are fine from ad clear to dps but I’m working on finding a melee influence loadout for when I’m too lazy to shoot.

For strength u shud just aim at 200% as gaze full armor strip capped at that breakpoint, 140% base with molt augmented is enough, which leave u more strength slot out (idk is it possible cuz I have 3 tau strength)

How did you not manage to fit flow into the first option? Even if I take my two duration shards off Xaku, 155 duration 45 efficiency 280 range 179 strength. Overextended, blind rage, auger reach, primed continuity, rolling guar, primed flow, stretch, umbral intensity, corrosive projection, cunning drift. Milt augmented and arcane energize are my picks for arcanes. On Xaku prime this took me two forma, granted on if them was an umbral forma but I feel it was worth it. Throw on two or more red shards for duration and you have almost a minute between vast untime cast while running around with 16 guns at all times.

Edit: ope you mentioned it later lol A really good build for steel path is running Shade or a Huras Kubrow, and then rely on Grasp of Lohk to get kills. Abilities won't break the stealth from the companion, so it's really nice. You can also run Duplex Bond because the companion clones won't break your stealth but will do damage, and they can be used for viral priming if you run a good sentinel weapon . . it's really cool

Yes xaku can be strong and scale forever. But his ability kills dont drop life support as often like other abilities do. Keep in mind new players, big dmg doesn't matter, time to kill and drop rates do.

With a grasp focused setup dispensor + equilibrium usually does it for me in terms of energy, i never run out of it. This lets you use the flow slot for more stregth and if you really want energy then that power strength frees a shard slot. Because of how his 3rd works i usually have a stationarry playstyle so dispensor is very fitting albeit not for everyone. He's the chill skeleton frame, really recommand it.

Is there a reason why Warframe guides don't suggest operator's Protective Sling over Rolling Guard mod? It doesn't use a mod slot and can be used consecutively for longer invulnerability times without much cooldown. Varzin Focus is also handy for increasing the range XP can be gained.

I Have 4 purple tau for 30/30 energy/health, 1 tau red for strength, Breach surge over Xata, then growing power (as companions proc it), power drift, overextended, transient fortitude, blind rage, primed flow, augur reach, primed continuity, stretch, and umbral intensify. and then i have arcane energize and molt augmented. i did have arcane arachne instead of molt augemented (as breach surge sparks r affected by the damage buff) but my arcane is only lvl 1 and doesnt do enough. for min max i plan on using a hound with an ability to shock enemies to proc archon stretch and as a primer for viral. u could also use a huras kubrow with stalk and as a viral primer. im not sure if Hunter Recovery procs archon intensify (it probably doesnt since it isnt an ability), but i will be trying it soon. Edit: i realize Purple taus r expensive. it will definitely be better to do 5 red tau instead for ability strength and drop Transient Fortitude for Equilibrium. i will probably be changing my build to that as it will also provide more ability strength. or i may do 4 tau red and 1 tau yellow for casting speed

Xaku is probaly my most afk frame, I do rock shade as a companion (But I use the clone mod for more dmg and priming since they can attack without breaking shades invisibility) and use Nurish as my first and have Combat discipline as my aura to constently prime nearby enemies with viral, with enough strength to armour strip and a with a little duration to it... solo yeah it is abit boring but with a friend it just allows me to be a really good support by just running around

I usually love your videos, but was there a single good reason to use 'it' instead of the established 'they/them'? Genuinely curious 'cos it seems like people will do anything to not recognise a gender that isn't man or woman. Like the 1 thing everyone says about they/them pronouns is that it's a plural term, but the one time it's actually plural, you use 'it'? Make it make sense. Edit: I really wouldn't care that much if you didn't make the conscious effort to use the wrong pronouns for Xaku - but after declaring that you would refer to them as 'it/it's', you referred to them as 'he/him' for about fifteen minutes until you used 'it/it's'. And anyone who tries the 'it's just a video game character' excuse - that's all it is, an excuse. If it's just a character then why go through so many hoops to disrespect them instead of just correcting yourself? You just want to be an asshole and have a slogan to fall back on when you inevitably get push-back.

Hey I can assure you there wasn’t much depth to what I was referring to xakus pronouns as it had nothing to do with pronouns, I landed up saying he or him just because it didn’t sound right saying they or xaku the whole time in the video. While yes I could’ve referred to xaku as they I just didn’t think much of it. Like I said it had nothing to do with pronouns and misgendering xaku

disgusting. i just put 2 umbra formas on and all 3 umbra mods. Corrosive projection, primed sure footed, primed flow, primed continuety, stretch, adaptation and relentless lost. never died on any long SP run, ever.
