Really liking that scouting mechanic! I can see that being a brilliant transition from the Solo Wargames Guide's Strategic/Operational level, to the Operational/Tactical level of the wargames ruleset. Brilliant stuff!

Thanks for the comment! I do have two distinct scouting mechanics in mind for playing out that transition from overview to table view. Stay tuned!

😃 Great video! Loved it! I am a solo-wargamer. I want to point out two books you may find useful by Donald Featherstone they are: 1 - Solo Wargaming by DF and: 2- Wargame campaigns by DF as well, you should check out some of his other books as there are several chapters on chance cards, tactical cards, messenger disposition cards ;etc. I have used them. for many years my favorite cards are the vagaries of war cards and the fortunes of war cards! Great job brother keep up the good work!

Lots of inspiration here, thanks! The hidden terrain is something I may try and incorporate soon.

Very cool! I love adding stuff like this to games. For RPGs it can express the setting and surprise both the Players and GM... but I like surprises in wargames as well.

Just a heads up, the link to your cards on itch doesn't seem to be working.
