I love this and it's so cool to see annihilation. I wish the game had some better mod support, even just things like having custom models would be so cool. It's always my opinion that modding support extends the lifespan of a game tenfold, and this is definitely one of the games that would benefit the most from that

I love how stealth is sending all his troops to death March USSR style at end , although most of them survived , also the mobile fob is an awesome idea , wish we could've had those in the main game...

Having done a few of these myself, I have some tips to optimize your zombie-killing game. 1) You can make it harder for yourself by giving yourself AI "allies" who only have unarmed CVs. They'll absorb extra income you would otherwise get and prevent you from getting extra availability on your units. 2) The endless swarm of APCs is as dangerous as the infantry and will soak up plenty of tank guns and LAWs. Autocannons are strongly recommended. 3) Supply helis are good. The zombies won't use the usual methods to take them out, and you live and die by the timeliness of your ammo deliveries. 4) Urban fights favor the enemy. If the zombies gain a foothold in a town, fall back to stop them at the next open space. 5) Infantry isn't much good, with the possible exception of fire support squads. The reason? As one unit puts it, "If the enemy is in range, so are we."

You can try to use Chinook as distribution centers around the fob to refill hemmts which act as a hub to refill the units. If it works correctly you can increase the area of resupply significantly. I do that with hemmts embedded with my front line if tanks and use Chinook to just ferry supply from the fobs.

I feel like I'm gonna say something that's already been stated but.. whatever. I feel like arty would have been such a huge asset in this fight, along with ground vehicles with HMG's and 40mm. Having that on the ground firepower thats less dependant on fuel is such a huge asset. Arty is literally designed to fulfill the statement, "That's some cool infantry, but can I turn them into enough particles to lag reality?" I feel like you did good for what you brought, and I guess the point wasn't to see how hard you could stomp the AI but how much fun you could have doing a zombie defense, which I guess is fair. But yknow, my minmaxing brain doesn't stop.

Sure, arty would be very nice. It would be too efficient though. Modes like these are more fun when you have a strict limit on activation points (5 per player for example). Then you really have to coordinate units/defenses.

Yeah, that’s fair. I guess if you were to make the most optimal defense possible it wouldn’t be a very long video or very fun video. That aside, I can see how restricting yourself to work with others can be very fun. Hell, this video makes me want to boot up wargame again

You have 3 spookies. Send one spooky with recon drone to enemy spawn. They will panic them, before they arive. Second one for spawn also, when first is out. Use third for close support . You dont need abrams. Something cheap with 25-30 millimetres and grenade launcher. Autocanon is for longer ranges and vehicles and grenade launchers is for close infantry. Something like 2 defence zones.

I like to use china for the zeds since they have 2 militia unit cards and a recon unit that's the finnish quad bike combined with the regular line infantry in the china armory to create a force that breaks my pc when it's a 4 v1

Hey Stealth besides, all the condemnable stuff happening right now. From a tactical view is the RU army really much worse as we all thought. Right now they are fighting mostly cold war stuff and the only tactic they can rely on is destroying civilian infrastructure to win on the long term. And is the RU army failing on strategical decisions or does their stuff just sucks? i dont want to start any political discussions i have friends in ukraine, but i m stunned how they keep the red army back.
