I’d like to see more of these. There’s barely any of these small reports on KZbin. It’s really interesting for new players to see these brief games. It gives you a really interesting insight into what to expect from your first games with a buddy.

You and Ben really do a good job. I just watched your MK III discussion on Ben's channel. In that video you mentioned you have an unboxing coming up. I look forward to that, but that's kinda been done by quite a few others. What I'd love to see is your suggestions for expansions from the basic boxes. 50pts is decent, but I was hoping more for some 75pt battles as that represents best more like how things used to be in terms of size. I've played against Koslov a few times and find him fairly easy to deal with as Cryx, but a lot of the other battleboxes really struggle! That high arm, and the rof2 on that gun are incredibly good! Khador are definitely a tier above in mk3! Look forward to seeing what you put out. :)

Miranda and I talked about this actually. More or less, it comes down to editing and recording time and commitment. Since my channel is so much simpler, I'll be doing the 75 point level on my channel, while smaller games in our meta will generally be shown here.

The Cryx battle box is definitely the worst matchup for the Khador box. The Cryx jacks out threat the Khador jacks and having access to parasite really helps.

Watching the game play out, I got to say it wasn't so much what was in the box, but you strategy. You are a great player but it seems that with the new edition your still getting your see legs. 1) You shot twice in the first round, but you didn't do the following sequence, boost to hit - boost to damage, second shot - boost to damage. I think there was a good chance you could have killed that Argus in the beginning or at least in round 2. 2) You choose to go first rather than second on a board with little terrain. In you instance, the hill would have been better to put your Decimator on to buy a second round of shooting. 3) Moved in way to fast. Without a kill zone in place, you could have bought a second round of shooting. 4) What you did right is how you used your caster. He is a little like Vlad, if your opponents caster is not a melee centric one you can really use him near the end game to support your models to close out the game without fear of assassination.

You probably expand on this in the coming soon 50-pointer, but did you feel that Kozlov's style changed much between battlegroup-only and a larger army? Oh, and Viscount rhymes with "I count" ;)

I'll have to remember that pronunciation going forward =) Kozlov is pretty flexible since his feat applies to both jacks and infantry so I'm not sure his style changes so much as you get a lot of choices in where to use that +2SPD

The battle boxes are a great place to start. The new ones anyway. Go to the Privateer Press website to look at the factions, but the battle boxes come with rules, models and everything.

it's a minor rule which is super easy to circumvent now.If you lack the tool,get it because every faction has a petty easy way t remove it.
