I almost have my workshop complete. I moved into a new location in my basement that allowed me to build a spray booth with a vent to the outside. Thanks for watching and please subscribe!

Go old school and get a green eyeshade (aka. accountant / telegrapher / professional card dealer's cap) to cut the glare from the lamp above.

Impressive setup!! I need to get a spray booth setup eventually. Right now I just wear a mask but come winter the garage door will have to stay closed :P

hi just a thought for your desk lighting not sure if you have a directional down light cover for your fluorescent tubes ? basically just a halfpipe covered in foil positioned over the top of the tube to redirect any lost light going upwards (like what is used on aquarium lights) this can double the brightness of your lighting

Thanks for the suggestion. The lighting that is on the bottom of the shelf is an under cabinet light from the home improvement store. They do not a reflector, but I might rig something up in the future. I have a desk lamp with an articulated arm and a nice bulb I move over a piece I am painting. Lighting can be a real challenge in your workspace. Happy wargaming!

Very sweet setup, a well organized shop is essential for everything to flow. There’s nothing worse than going through your stuff for an hour to find 1 or 2 things. Using lots of properly labeled shelves and drawers in my shop is so important to me, But your spray booth is what caught my attention, I see a lot of people throwing diy booths together and most are pretty shabby to say the least but you've obviously taken some time with this one, it looks great and has great storage space. So how has the booth worked for you so far; does it capture all fumes properly? & do you use the booths high and low settings often?

What are you using for the paint rack over your main work area? I've been looking for something similar, but haven't had any luck so far. I have a lot of P3 paints that I think would be great to store that way.

Search "Wire Storage Cube" on Amazon. I built a frame to hold two pieces of wire panel 1 3/8" apart and then the paint bottles slide right in. I tried a P3 bottle and it worked fairly well. The wire sits between the lip of the cap and the ring holding the cap onto the bottom portion of the bottle. You might try a slightly small space between the wire panels, maybe 1 1/4" or 1 1/8" for the P3 bottles. Let me know how it goes for you.

Would love to see the pics on the booth. I just repurposed an old entertainment center from the goodwill. The paint tray rocks, anyway to get a cut sheet and templates? Looks awesome!

If I have time I will pull together a video for the paint tray. FYI, you need a table saw.

***** Cool! Now I am totally jealous. Do they even let you bring plywood or MDF (my primary, budget material) into a shop like that?

Where did you find the grid you used to create your acrylics paint storage? I love that square wire/mesh. It's perfect.

Sorry, TT, still getting used to this G+ comments section. They sure do, I have brought in some stuff to trim down for convenience. I also plan on doing some basic sculpting armatures there.

I have not made the video for the spray booth yet. I have the pics and I will pull together a video as soon as I can. FYI, I forgot to mention I bonded sheet metal to the inside so I will be able to add height adjustable shelves inside the booth.
